"Elastic Melody has just received a huge update, significantly expanding its sonic possibilities and sequencing capabilities!

In this performance, Elastic Melody runs on two iPads: the left iPad mainly provides the rhythms, while the right one plays the bassline. Both devices stay perfectly synchronized via Ableton Link.

Available as both a standalone app and an AUv3 plug-in for iOS and macOS, Elastic Melody features three channels of synthesized sounds, an analog-style step sequencer, and four master effects—making it easy to create evolving melodies, basslines, rhythms, and polyrhythms.

The Teenage Engineering K.O. Sidekick is a great choice for this setup. Here, it acts as both an audio interface and a performance mixer for live effects. Its tempo tracking keeps the effects synchronized with the performance.
