Elastic Melody 1.2 — What’s New

"Here comes the full list:

MASTER SECTION

• Added a master level control
• Added a simple volume meter

OSCILLATOR

• Added four more oscillator waveforms for a wider range of sounds
• Added new modulation options:
– Pitch Modulation
– FM Modulation (IAP)
– Decaying FM Modulation (IAP)

FILTER

• Added three filter drive and feedback options for adding dirt:
– Creamy Overdrive
– Filter Feedback (IAP)
– Filter FM (IAP)

TRACKS

• Solo (S) is now located at the top of each track
• Mute (M) is now located at the bottom of each track
• Long-press a track number to edit its name

SEQUENCER

The new “rnd shift” control can automatically alter the notes with each new round:
• Turn it to the right to shift the pitch every 4, 2a, 2b or 1 rounds
• Turn it to the left to shift the position every 4, 3, 2 or 1 rounds
• Double-tap the “rnd shift” button to restore the original pattern


AUTOMATION

You can now record automation while “Autom” is selected. Turn a knob while the pattern is playing, and Elastic Melody will write your performance into the step automation.
• Move a knob back and forth to record a changing curve at the playhead
• Hold a knob for about one second to force a static value and clear that parameter’s automation


FX SECTION

• Added an FX Send button to all three tracks, allowing individual tracks to sound drier
• Added Ping Pong Delay as a second delay mode (IAP)
• Added Dattorro Reverb for longer reverbs (IAP)
• The EQ is now positioned at the end of both the FX and dry signal chains

PRESETS

• Added a Like button that lets you display your favourite presets at the top
• New presets are marked with a NEW badge
• Added preset deletion
• Added preset import
• Added “Save To” for saving presets to your computer

SETTINGS

• Added a buffer size selector
• Added a manual
• Added the store for the optional Extra Modes

GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS

• Improved timing, especially in AUv3 plug-in mode
• Improved sync behaviour for the First and Last buttons
• Corrected wrong notes in certain scales
• Improved behaviour when connecting or changing Bluetooth headphones
• Various design improvements


NEW PRESETS

• New presets by Sound of Izrael
• New presets by Another Machines


macOS

Elastic Melody now works much better on your Apple silicon Mac, both as a standalone app and as an AUv3 plug-in.
