Reliq - Rlx 1.10: Reliq, Your DAW and Your Hardware on One Grid
video upload by Reliq Instruments
"Reliq, your DAW and your hardware, all on the same grid. Rlx 1.10 comes with U-SYNC 2.0: tighter, more stable sync between Reliq, DAWs and hardware, automatic latency compensation, and U-SYNC is finally available on Windows. The Bitwig integration goes much deeper, with track creation, plug-in loading and Bitwig clip sequencing directly from Reliq. The USB Host port now connects up to four USB devices through a standard hub. On top of that, there are refinements to Track Speed, the Euclidean generator and much more.

U-SYNC 2.0
U-SYNC is a USB-based protocol that keeps your DAW, Reliq and the rest of your hardware running together on the same grid. Version 2.0 brings tighter, more stable timing, and it is now available for both macOS and Windows. It works with Bitwig, Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, LUNA, Reason, FL Studio and more. Add the U-SYNC plug-in to any track and Reliq connects straight away, sharing transport and clock with the DAW.
Auto Detect latency compensation
DAW sessions, audio interfaces and plug-ins all add different amounts of latency. Select Auto Detect, record a bar from the hardware, pick that track as U-SYNC's sidechain input and press play. U-SYNC measures the delay and applies the compensation automatically, so hardware recorded into the DAW lands exactly on the grid. Save the result as a preset for setups you use often.
Deeper Bitwig integration
From Reliq you can now create Bitwig tracks, choose and load plug-ins, and control their parameters across multiple pages. You can also change plug-ins and delete tracks without going back to the computer. Open a Bitwig MIDI clip and Reliq's sequencer becomes the sequencer for that clip. The new Reliq extension will be included with Bitwig from version 6.3.2.
USB Host
With a standard USB hub, up to four USB devices connect to Reliq's USB Host port, which now works in both directions. They appear in the Track Output menu like any MIDI or CV destination. Each one can also receive clock, and they are available inside Custom Outputs. If a device is disconnected, Reliq remembers where it was used, and the routing comes back when you plug it in again.
Track Speed
A track's speed can now be set to any value, with fine control in between. Run two tracks at almost the same speed for Steve Reich-style phase patterns, then bring them back into sync.
Euclidean
Work in 16th or 32nd note resolution. The new Azimuth parameter rotates each drum sound's pattern, in whole steps or with microtiming in between.
Also new
A folded piano roll for melodic and chord tracks, triggers per voice, linked key editing, and copy, paste and delete for individual sheets. There are also workflow improvements, GUI refinements, performance work and fixes.
