wozLOL Launches Foxwizard, the Smallest Complete USB MIDI Adapter Ever Made, Hand-Built in Las Vegas for $25
Pocket-size multitool routes and remaps MIDI with no computer, speaks USB-C, TRS Type A, TRS Type B, TS, and classic 5-pin DIN, and ships in custom colorways.
LAS VEGAS, October 4, 2026: wozLOL today announced the Foxwizard Mini MIDI Multitool, a hand-built boutique MIDI adapter and router it calls the smallest complete USB MIDI adapter you can buy. Starting at $25, the Foxwizard remaps MIDI with no computer connected, connects nearly every flavor of MIDI port in the modern studio, and comes in multiple hip colorways with custom colors available. The first production batch is ready to ship now.
Hardware is having its biggest moment in decades.

Synthesizers, sequencers, drum machines, and grooveboxes are piling up on desks and stages again, and every one of them needs to talk to the others. That has turned humble MIDI plumbing into the most important unsung gear in the studio, and the Foxwizard was designed for exactly this moment. It also lands at a turning point for TRS MIDI. The format has finally standardized on TRS Type A, but a huge installed base of beloved hardware still speaks Type B, and classic 5-pin DIN is not going anywhere. The Foxwizard ends the adapter guessing game. It carries two 1/8-inch TRS Type A ports, two TRS Type B ports, and two 5-pin DIN ports, with support for TS MIDI as well, so nearly any device connects to nearly any other with no dongle stack and no crossed fingers.
"Every producer I know has a drawer full of adapters that almost work," said Joseph "Woz" Wozniak, creator of the Foxwizard and founder of wozLOL. "I wanted one tiny box that handles all of it, fits anywhere, looks great on the desk, and costs less than a pizza night. So I made it cute enough that people want one in their own color."
At 10mm x 60.2mm x 34.2mm, the Foxwizard is about the same size as a Game Boy Advance game. A super-easy web interface programs channel routing, CC piping, message blocking, transpose, keyboard splits, and mono/poly tricks, and once programmed, the Foxwizard keeps routing on USB power alone with no computer attached, making it a DAWless essential. A configurable front button fires off on-the-fly panic, pitch bend, mod, octave shifts, CC messages, or note triggers. Three adjustable-brightness indicator lights fade gently instead of blinking distractingly. It even works as a passive DIN to TRS A-to-B adapter with no power or USB at all.
For modders and builders, easy solder pads and six RP2040 GPIO pads, including pads for USB host capability and digital or analog input, make it a perfect internal module, and the open-source Arduino firmware can be customized as well.
Unlike bargain-bin DIN-only cables that skip the opto-isolator the MIDI specification calls for and burn out young, the Foxwizard is engineered to the spec with proper opto-isolated inputs. The metal-reinforced, high-strength PETG enclosure snaps together with no screws and survives squishes. Patent-pending Half-DIN ports deliver universal classic DIN compatibility, since MIDI only needs two of the five pins.
At $25 for the PCB-only version and $40 with the enclosure and DIN ports, the Foxwizard competes on price with everything on the market except cheap generic cables, and none of those can route, remap, or survive like this one. Every unit carries a 30-day test drive guarantee and a one-year limited warranty.
The Foxwizard is available now at https://woz.lol/foxwizard/#page-content. Units are printed, hand-assembled, and shipped from Las Vegas, Nevada, usually within 48 hours, with tracking provided when available. Firmware is fully open source on GitHub.
