minator keytar synth guitar - "The Hi-Tech Guitar"

via this auction

"Vintage AMT minator keytar in good working condition. This is a rare and bizarre noise maker that I ran across. It is pretty simple device with about 5 pre-programmed riffs on it. It has no midi control and has a 1/8” headphone out, also a weird jack that looks like a phone cord that says sync. It has guitar strap hook-ons. The drum pads trigger 3 drum fills. Works off 6 c sized batteries. It accepts cartridges in the slot with more song riffs. It includes cartridge #71001- classic rock 1- with start me up/stones, whole lotta love/zep, Roxanne/police, money for nothing/dire straits, and lets go/the cars. the cartridge contains about the most butchered versions of these riffs. they sound rather cool. Pretty rare and hard to find these days. This is a very cool looking and bizare sounding"

Update via Anonymous in the comments: "This is actually called the JAMINATOR. Not AMT Minotar. Hah! [funny]

I have one. They have several expansion cartridges. You can sync up two of them with a phone cord."
