Antonelli 2610 Solista IV. Quick & dirty jam.

video upload by mk is watoo

via the comments of this older post for one for sale.

"We just randomly played & discovered this weird italian synth/organ from the late 70s (early 80s?).

Unfortunatly there's no sound when playing the middle octave on the keyboard. The vibrato doesn't seem to work& the phaser may be too strong."

V.A.I. 73 : Antonelli Syntorgan 2445 / FBT R-21 Leslie Simulator

video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia

"Antonelli Syntorgan 2445.
Lovely and quirky machine with a mono synth and high / low pass filter controls.
It came with legs, preset overlays for a handful of sounds, and a songbook.
There’s a very simple drum machine and auto bass/chords on board as well.
The Antonelli Syntorgan 2445 is actually fun to play and compose with, the two filter types really save this toy keyboard and elevates it beyond Bontempi standards.
Marketed for beginners and kids, it was apparently manufactured by Siel - it’s basically a slimmed down and tinny sounding Siel Cruise : a mono section and a poly section.
On the Syntorgan you can route the poly section through the mono filter, plus it has a kind of hidden two octave bass preset, a drum machine and auto-bass and auto-chord section too.
We used some external effects, this machine really needs it :
the Tekson Fading pedal for phasing the drums, then an odd and crazy rare FBT Dual Channel Equalizer rack-unit for some color, and a Montarbo Analog Delay (actually digital) with a broken chip that somehow distorts things wonderfully.
On some sounds we also pulled out our FBT R-21 Leslie simulator, an optical rack device based around a spinning disc, it looks almost like a tape echo.

Antonelli Syntorgan Specs:
Separate and combinable Poly and mono sections
High and low pass filters
Drum machine with presets
Bass preset sound
Auto bass and chord section
One finger mode."

See the Antonelli and FBT below for more.

This synth has not been used much : Rare Perfect Condition for this 40 years Rare Analog Synth. In Fact it was produced to order at SIEL ....

Antonelli has produced 2 synthesizers which each have a personality and a particular sound.
2445 which with its filters and its vibrato creates creamy waves chords at will ,
Solista IV which brings its big bass vibrations with its bass boost and some layers of
psychedelic sounds with its flanger and its vibrato.
They link very well, I often associated them with delays effects and loops."

Solista One by Antonelli - Electronic Organ from 1980

Rare Italian preset synth with rhythm section.

Rhythm section has: Waltz, Swing, Rock, Accomp.  Not sure what's before Rock.  Tempo and Volume knobs.  Accomp is white so I'm guessing it's the on/off toggle.

Instrument sectio has: Flute, Reed, Strings, Brill, Vibrato.  Brill is likely a brilliance effect.  Volume knob and On/Off switch.

Never seen this one before. Curious if this one was produced by Antonelli for Emenee. Antonelli was an Italian organ company that produced the Audion Solista.

ANTONELLI VINTAGE ORGAN with Rhythm Section

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

I normally skip home organs, but I thought this one was interesting enough to post and I wanted to capture it before id disappeared.  Curious if it's all analog, digital or a mix.  If you know, feel free to comment.  As you can see there is a rhythm section.  If you take a look at the Antonelli channel label at the bottom of this post you will see a few other keyboards the company made including an actual synth.  It's interesting to think about the technology used at the time and what might have crossed over to their other designs.  It's also fascinating to think about what the lesser known manufacturers in the synth world made throughout the years.

Antonelli 2610 Solista IV 70/80

via this auction

Update: you can find a demo of one posted here (via the comments below)

"There are not too many synthesizers from seventies/eighties which are not demoed on Youtube. Usually it means that it was limited production... and it was something really good. Antonelli 2610 Solista IV IS really good, indeed. And it's rarity what means it's really hard to find another one at market.

It's a full analog instrument with three sections:
- drum machine
- auto accompaniment (bass and accords)
- preset synthesizer

As for drum machine it sounds really oldschool, like a locomotive which puff, buzz and doing strange things. If you know Kraftwerk or Jarre you understand what I mean. Accompaniment section has recorded waveforms synchronized with drum machine. Transposition of waveform is being made by playing at left side of keyboard. Synthesizer offers 10 presets, which you can freely link together, vibrato with speed button, delay function and something special - PHASER

This phaser deserve for individual discussion. It's effect which could be mounted in some best of the best analog synths of all time. For sure - it isnt boring fuzzer. It sound really clear and contour. Beautifully "sift" sound. After turning on phaser, delay and few presets Antonelli generate unique string-like sounds.

Antonelli is in very good condition. It plays with no problems, case is well groomed, white and clear keyboard. The only fault is that some of function levers are incomplete (see photos)."

Antonelli 2610 SOLISTA IV

via this auction

"The sound is very cool and has a dope phaser effect. Very ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) and power plant like. Also has a rhythm section that is typical for it's age. We could not find any info on it because it so rare, but our guess is that it is from the late seventies."

Vintage Audion Solista

via this auction

"This vintage, interesting and simple electronic organ was a product of Antonelli, an Italian organ maker and a supplier of electronic organs to Emenee Industries. This perfectly analog keyboard has three voices - flute, reeds and string, and also a built-in 4 rhythms: waltz, swing , rock and Latin. It has a built in speaker and 2 volume control for rhythm and voices, vibrato and brilliance switch add to an uncomplicated circuitry.

All functions and keys are fully functional, and you can generate quite cheesy sounds and rhythms from the piano. With a little help from modern electronic devices - you can get a bunch of truly unusual sounds out of it.

Size: 33" W x 15"D x 3-3/3"H. Net weight 20 lbs."
