SWAM Solo Strings by Audio Modeling - expressive physical modeling
video upload by CatSynth TV
"We at CatSynth are excited to present SWAM Strings from Audio Modeling, a library of expressive string instruments (violin, viola, cello, and double bass) meticulously created using physical modeling techniques. Starting with the cello, we explore most of the performance parameters, show how to automate them with a MIDI controller, and explore a few of the sub-models of the instrument. We then go on to look at the violin, double bass, and viola, again demonstrating the expressive performance possibilities.
This is the first of several videos on Audio Modeling's SWAM physical modeling instruments. In future videos we will explore the woodwinds, brass, and string sections.

#NAMM 2024: Audio Modeling SWAM (physical modeling instruments)
video upload by CatSynth TV
"We take a look at Audio Modeling's realistic and expressive virtual instruments that use their SWAM physical modeling engine. Among the instruments are various strings (violins, cellos, etc.), wind instruments, and brass. Each comes with many different sub-models and degrees of freedom for tuning the exact quality of the instrument in any given setting or moment.
