Extraordinary Patches with Procyon Stereo Morphing Filter by Glasgow Synth Guild and Eon

video upload by foxendeavor

"The Procyon analog filter is an amazing MS-20 style stereo morphing filter that has a few extra tricks up its sleeve.

Exploring this characterful filter from Glasgow Synth Guild and Eon Audio Design took me to so many special places the more and more I explored patching and modulating it. I only used basic LFOs and envelopes with most of these patches. What you see and hear are the result of just playing around and letting the module take me to places.

There are several patching ideas and performances within the video. Feel free to check them all out and I really love the end performance but... in reality, I just love all the sounds I got from this wonderful filter.

For a more in depth overview and more patch ideas for this incredible Eurorack filter check out DivKid's impressive video:" [posted here]

Stereo Morphing MS-20 Style Filter & Saturating VCA // Procyon from Eon

video upload by DivKid

"Here we have the mega characterful stereo morphing filter based on the already characterful Korg MS-20 filter circuit with added stereo VCA and oodles of extra saturation on tap … meet PROCYON from EON AUDIO DESIGN.

This is the first module from Eon but NoƩ behind the company is no stranger to module design and Eurorack having worked at Instruo for the past few years (he still works there too). In full support of Instruo and with help from the Glasgow Synth Guild who build these modules Eon have released Procyon which is out now. Procyon is a stereo input and stereo output morphing VCF and VCA combo with flexible routing and modulation options, plenty of saturation and ways to manipulate your audio. Check out the timing index below to skip around with plenty of patch examples and things you can try for yourself.

Procyon is available here with further info and the manual etc // https://www.glasgowsynthguild.com/sho..."
