Modular Synth Tip - double frequency and supersaw effects #shorts
video upload by
"When you mix a sawtooth and a square wave together from the same oscillator, it produces a sawtooth wave at twice the frequency!
What you need:
1) an oscillator with individual saw and pulse outputs
2) a mixer (perhaps the mixer in your filter module)
Note: that it may be possible to use an inexpensive Multiple module to do the mixing.
3) optionally an LFO to modulate the Pulse Width of the pulse wave to get the supersaw effect"

"ARP 2600 provides the lead.
Z506 Swiss Daisy DSP provides the 'pluck'.
Intellijel Metropolis sequencer drives the Swiss Daisy DSP.
Frequency Central MethAmp provides overdrive as well as a voltage controlled tone with "regen"eration (resonance/Q).
ES FV-1 modules provide digital delay and reverb.
This module is based on the Electro-Smith.com FV-1 submodule. RecklessExperimentationAudio.com provided the prototype PCBs and panels. Thanks Mikhail!

Daisy simple synth voice with an MU (DOTCOM) panel - prototype demo
O.Z. Hall
"This is a module with a Dotcom (MU) format panel. It is using only the features of the Daisy processor ( electro-smith.com ) . The "voice" consists of a VCO with V/Oct CV input, various waveforms including Noise, as well as an ADSR envelope and a VCA. It is driven from a sympleSEQ sequencer from Hexinverter.
I hope you enjoy the demo!"

ARP Pro Soloist High Pass (HP) Filter Section Clone by O.Z. Hall
Published on May 14, 2020 O.Z. Hall
"I cloned the ARP Pro Soloist High Pass (HP) Filter section. The output of the high pass filter section goes straight into the 24DB/Oct Low Pass filter on the soloist.
There are 4 - 6DB/oct HP filter circuites at 4 different cutoffs. They are in parallel. The outputs are summed.
This video demonstrates each of the 4 filters in isolation. Next they filters are combined in every combination (limit two filters at a time)."
