Hints of New Things from Zebranalogic

There are a couple of posts up on the Zebranalogic blog discussing some of what they are working on. First is Digital Audio Techniques. "In our research of audio development, we are working with some digital techniques for digital systems. Like the Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technique. With this one we can simulate analog waveform with a dsp processor. The result is pretty good and depends of the number of digital samples. The output is ploted in a GLCD (Graphic LCD ). The frequency of the wavform is variable by software with a knob..."

The second post is New MIDI design which mentions, "In order to complete our blocks for a new audio machine we are designing a more complete MIDI circuit. Part of the process is the system simulation. In the picture we can see the capture of the values of Status byte, note, velocity and note off, all are the same in this test because we are entering the values with a PC keyboard ...we are working a lot to design a bigger machine with more details and best options..."

Zebranalogic Updates

via Darren in Singapore:

"The Zebranalogic updated their website.... now with more new gear (new VCF and new LFO). It has now added more pix, more examples, a video, zebrablog, radioblog, etc... cool stuffs. Amazingly, Zebranalogic's blog has two mentions of Singapore's site... One special site to note is Mr MISSE site which has an interview with Zebranalogic in the feature site... Mr Misse belongs to my friend, an online store that carries mainly stomp boxes and effects from major brands including Korg and Moog... nice web site I must say... check out the short interview with Zebranalogic if you have the time to grace :) URL

SubtleNoiseMaker and the Zebranologic

Remember the Peruvian Zebranalogic? Well it looks like Sascha Renner picked one up. Title link takes you to a post on his brand new blog SubtleNoiseMaker. The Zebranologic isn't as shiny/polished as I was expecting, but that clear case is cool. Samples will be coming. I'll be subbing to his blog so hopefully I'll see the samples when they come in. I added SubleNoiseMaker to my blogroll on the right as well. Thanks Sascha!

Update: samples are in.

Zebranalogic - Analog from Peru

Trip. Title link takes you to Zebranalogic, makers of effects, a modulator, oscillators, and a soon to be synthesizer. They are based out of Lima, Peru. I dig the clear cases. I hope they do this with the synth. If they do, I'll have to buy one for that reason alone. Samples on line. This one via the great GetLoFi.
