Walker F. feat. Make Noise
Walker F. feat. Make Noise from HerrSchneider on Vimeo.
"Walker Farrell of Make Noise was so kind to host this workshop at Schneidersladen showroom. He introduced the participants to the Shared System, 0-Coast and some new modules like the Morphagene. Inspired mostly by what is called the westcoast philosophy of synthesis Make Noise developed the iconic Maths module some years ago. Maths can be considered as one of the most important modules of the recent years. We would like to thank Walker for this very detailed and competent workshop, sharing interesting stories about the company and their modules and answering all the questions that came up. And we are happy to welcome Make Noise on board for SUPERBOOTH18 in May, again."
LFO Gen~Code Demos w/ Buchla Format Modular

"I love Gen~ code! So smooth, ultra fast and very impressive!
(Gen~ allows a kind of Low Level coding [inside Max] that can be computed directly over the CPU, needs less resources and sounds much better.)
The LFO Gen~Code is part of the Synthcore2 Bundle (Max7):

RA Sessions: Tin Man - Nonneo
Published on Dec 11, 2017 Resident Advisor
"Emotional acid.
Visit the RA feature page: https://www.residentadvisor.net/featu...
The original “Nonneo” was kind of playful by Auvinen’s standards, with bright synths and wriggling percussion in the mix, but for his RA Session he focuses on the track’s darker emotional core, setting it to faster drums and jamming on the Roland SH-101.

SYNTHBLOCKS: Analogue Solutions TREADSTONE Analogue Synth (teaser)
Published on Dec 11, 2017 rezfilter
You might remember the pics and initial details posted here. We now have a video and additional details including a mapping of the controls.
"Introducing the latest SynthBlock: Treadstone!
This small analogue powerhouse features a single analogue VCO, with square and saw waveforms, plus a noise and a sub oscillator, the SSM chip, an analogue echo and a very unique loop sequencer section, which offers uncompromised access to the synths internal architecture, letting you rewire it as you see fit and make some of your own tones and patches.
Treadstone is fully eurorack compatible, with 3.5mm minijacks and it operates on a 1 v/oct standard, meaning you can use it to interface with your modular system, or have it as a superb external voice for your system.
Treadstone is made in the UK and is built using very high quality components, as you'd expect with any AS synth.
Audio demos to follow!
-Full rugged steel/aluminium case – no plastic mouldings
-Good quality smooth, fully sealed against dust
-Good quality knobs with spun aluminium caps
-High grade double sided circuit board
-Analogue discrete VCO, analogue SSM style 24db filter
-High Quality 16bit DAC for MIDI-CV conversion Stable MIDI to CV
-MIDI converter

Sunday Space broadcast(Volca FM/Sample, Minilogue)

"As a space nomad, the experience of time begins to lose all real meaning as you begin to live more in stasis than what you have actually experienced awake. Centuries have rolled by, entire generations of families born and dead. New technologies and upgrades....even improvements to the body itself, erasing the last traces of your human "animal" self. Your life expectancy is another 1000 years yet you've already slept 10,000. What will you see in another 100,000? Curiosity and technology leads you forward for better or worse.
Something simple because it has been too long, I hope everyone is doing well. It seems that if I'm not working I'm sleeping or driving lately. Made a plucked string like patch on the FM and paired it with a simple bass line on the minilogue, and the sample providing the drums. Thank you for watching and listening!

0-Coast/SH-01A - Warm and the Winter
Published on Dec 10, 2017 Jae Ryan
"Short patch using the SH-01A sequencer to sequence the 0-Coast via CV/Gate. I'm then using the random output to trigger the clock input of the SH-01A sequencer so the notes trigger at random, thus, the sequencer is acting more like a poor mans quantizer.
The 0-Coast patch goes through an H9 delay and then that stereo track gets dipped in some hall from UAD's 224 with the sound toys phaser also in the chain to soften some transients!
I overdubbed a 'pad' from the SH01A through a blackhole preset on the H9 and then also ran that through the stereo 224 bus!"
"Six" with Roland Jupiter 6
Published on Dec 10, 2017 Machiwoomiapoo
"'Six' with Roland Jupiter 6
Thanks to Nick's Sonic State video I wanted to record a tune with just the Jupiter 6 and no effects. First I used the arpeggio feature for the BASS line. Next I added some strings swells. Then I added another set of arpeggios on top. Finally, I recorded the solo line. The footage is from our trip last summer. Thanks for watching. Please leave feedback, share, and subscribe. Take care and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Sam."
