"Apparently only 200 of these synths were ever made. They came with breath control so you can vary the volume by breathing down a plastic tube but I don't have the rubber tube. Not sure if this feature can be made to work or not."

Video is from the auction, but not the one listed.

Clavia Nord Modular Rack G1 // Sound Editing In The Machine - No Computer

Published on Apr 12, 2015 LESINDES

"The NORD MODULAR is normally edited with a computer. The patch creation is done with a dedicated program by Clavia the Nord Modular Editor or Nomad which is another program designed to do that job. But what if you don't if you can't use a computer for the purpose of editing for any reason. This video shows you how to change the sound parameters of a given patch only with the red machine itself even if no knobs are assigned to the patch parameters."

DSI Tetra - 'Push it' Nonsense (it's a drone, not a cover version)

Published on Apr 12, 2015 DreamsOfWires

"I've had my head buried in this little box over the last couple of days, learning to control it in different ways, but whilst creating some new patches I was quite enjoying just messing around with the filter and assignable controls in conjunction with the 'Push it' button. Sometimes recording gets far too complicated and uninspiring for my liking, so I thought I'd simply tether it to a handheld audio recorder via the Eventide Space reverb and record the results... however bad they may be.

It's improvised of course, but it's been a particularly windy day today, so the sounds and video footage are inspired by that. Slap-happy recording and technical ignorance forever!"

"Live jam on a Tech-House patch. Recorded in one take with audio recorded straight off the modular - no effects or post-processing.

Makes heavy use of the Abstract Data ADE-32 Octocontroller which is handling all the triggering, rhythms and modulation."

"Please see photo for specifications. # of Voices 256, # of Presets 16."

Never seen one of these before. Curious if this is a presets only synth or if it's programmable. If anyone knows feel free to comment.
