BEMI Music Easel Jig: exploration no. 1
Published on Jun 14, 2013 Todd Barton·105 videos

"Here's a little improvised jig on a prototype of the new BEMI Music Easel that I was lucky enough to test drive the other weekend. Also, checkout my other "compilation" video http://youtu.be/cYlafCXm61E to see/hear a wider range of sounds and patches. This instrument rocks!"

Music Easel: exploration-2 compilation
Published on Jun 14, 2013

"Whoo-Hoo! I was lucky enough to borrow a prototype BEMI Music Easel the other weekend and give it a test drive. Though my flipcam mic doesn't do justice to the full range sound -- know that this is the cleanest, crispest and full bodied sound in all my sonic arsenal. The integrated keyboard is so intuitive and expressive. The oscillators are deep and rich -- great analog sound and feel. Hope you enjoy this little compilation -- maybe more to come with a different set of sounds. It is in the production pipeline! Cheers! Todd"

MOOG Pianobar Acoustic Piano Bar Midi Conversion SN 0009 and 00032

The piano bar rests on your piano and turns it into a MIDI controller. This brings back memories. Before the Minimoog Voyager, Moog made the Pianobar alongside the first Moogerfoogers. I know the very first Moogerfoogers were by Big Briar, Bob Moog's company before he attained the Moog company name again, but I forget if the Pianobar was first released under Big Briar. The Big Briar theremin of course came out first.  It's interesting.  Bob Moog started with the theremin, sold the Moog brand and then went back to making theremins under the new Big Briar company name only to come back to synthesizers with the Moog brand.
