GS Bree6 | Cinematic synthesizer music
video upload by Jay Hosking
https://www.gsmusic.com/
"Please support my work on Patreon: / jayhosking
Two cinematic songs performed live on the GS Bree6 and Walrus Qi, with orchestration added afterward in the box.
Thank you SO MUCH to the incredible @devinbelangermusic (aka Miles Away) for lending me the Bree6. I had so much fun with it that I started pricing out getting one myself!
The Bree6 is a six-voice analog polysynth, relatively simple in its architecture but with fantastic sound. It has a lot of features going for it, in my opinion, including great oscillators, very nice stereo spread, small form factor, and a panel mode. I dialled in some sounds extremely fast and got lost in the music making.
I was so lost, in fact, that I didn't even bother to try and show off the variety of this synth. Instead, I wanted to emphasize what I liked about it: I was writing music on it right away. Hopefully that inspiration comes through, and hopefully you can find other great videos (like Devin's) to hear the wider range of the synth.
Arrangements were written using some Spitfire strings (Cells, and BBC Orchestra), as well as some interesting sounds from Teletone Audio's 'simplesizer' line (e.g. Le Gibet).
Thanks for listening.

GS Music Bree6 // Small Simple and Sublime
video upload by Starsky Carr
https://www.gsmusic.com/
"Sound is everything... and the GS MUSIC Bree6 doesn't fail to deliver. There's an intangible quality to the tone of their synths. The GS MUSIC e7 bing their first offering, that bowled me off my feet when I first got my hands on it.
This was first announced in NAMM 2024, so it's took a while to get to me - and it was worth the wait. Its a single VCO 6 voice polysynth with a 24dB LP filter and all analog signal path ... so it's in the same ball park as Juno's except this is a VCO, not a DCO, and has a different flavour.
Importantly for a boutique synth manufacturer, this feels great to use - its got a knob per function interface thats so intuitive and easy to navigate you'll be an expert in minutes!"

GS Music Bree6 Synthesizer - LSPXPO 2025
video upload by sonicstate
"On a gentler Sunday morning at the show, Nick caught up with Paul who showed us the GS Music Bree6 synthesizer. Those familiar with the E7 will find the Bree6's layout and features familiar, though with some notable differences. This 6-voice polyphonic synthesizer houses one oscillator per voice, complemented by a sub-oscillator. Unlike its predecessor, it offers a more streamlined approach with one LFO instead of three. The Bree6 retains its analog roots but incorporates digital effects such as chorus and delay to enhance its sonic palette.
The Bree6 also features a 4-pole ladder filter with a 24dB/octave slope and two envelopes, offering you a broad range of sound sculpting options. It provides stereo voice panning, which adds depth, possibly enhanced by the delay. With eight banks of presets and a user-friendly interface, it's a straightforward option for those starting with polyphonic synthesis.

Bree6 Custom Factory Patches by SYNTH_NYC
via SYNTH_NYC
"GS Music commissioned me to create 64 Custom Factory Presets for their new discreet analog polyphonic synthesizer, the Bree6.
Those presets are available for free as a factory bank coming up with the synth.
You can listen to them in high resolution (24bit 96kHz PCM WAV masters, FLAC encoded) on my site (optimized for Chrome on MacOS and Windows).
All presets have PB, MW, AT/PAT and Velocity configured, except the last one which has MPE configured additionally (Bree6 should be in MPE mode for this one) for the best possible expressivity.
It's impossible to make a bad patch with the Bree6! With or without subtractive synthesis knowledge, you can make a great sounding patch in no time. The Bree6 is the 2nd discreet analog polyphonic synthesizer released by GS Music (following the e7), it has those notable improvements:
- Poly Aftertouch (it responds to Channel AT as well without having to change anything on the synth, and MPE by configuration change)
- Detune (voice detune)
- Poly Stereo (hard panning per voice on L/R channels), Poly ('center' on both L/R channels) output modes
- Larger display
- Only 1 'Shift' parameter (the Sub Oscillator On/Off feature)
- Very few 'Menu' parameters (only the MW, Velocity, AT/PAT and MPE sources / targets / amounts in the Control Menu; and Transpose, PB Range, Preset Level, Unison Interval in the Preset Menu), so it's really WYSIWYH (What You See Is What You Hear).
It was a pleasure crafting those 64 FREE Custom Factory Presets for the Bree6, I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them and that they will bring value and inspiration to yours music."
See the announcement post for the Bree6 here.
Meet the New GS Music Bree6 with Ernesto Romeo
video upload by GS Music
"Our website https://www.gsmusic.com/
Join us in this video as the legendary Ernesto Romeo takes the Bree6 Synthesizer for a spin for the very first time. Known for his profound expertise in electronic music and synthesis, Ernesto explores the depths of GS Music's latest creation, the Bree6, a marvel of analog synthesis technology designed for both studio and live performance.
Follow Ernesto Romeo ig: https://www.instagram.com/ernestorome..."
Press release follows:
After extensive research and dedicated efforts from our team, GS Music is proud to unveil the Bree6, our latest breakthrough in synthesizer technology. The Bree6 is a straightforward synthesizer offering six voices of polyphony, each equipped with a single voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and a sub oscillator. It has been meticulously developed to meet the needs of both studio and performance environments. The Bree6 features a fully analog signal path that includes a 4-pole low-pass voltage-controlled ladder filter (VCF), and a voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA). The control signals are digitally generated, incorporating one low-frequency oscillator (LFO) and two ADSR- type envelope generators. Additionally, the Bree6 integrates an effects processor with chorus and delay.
Designed for straightforward operation, the Bree6 provides intuitive access to its full capabilities without complex menus, making it accessible to both seasoned professionals and those new to synthesis.
No Menu Diving
The Bree6 interface is engineered for straightforward and intuitive use, ensuring easy access to its robust features, including MIDI connections, USB, balanced stereo audio outputs, headphone output.
Signal Path
The signal path in the Bree6 is entirely analog, comprising a single VCO per voice, a sub oscillator, a mixer, a 4-pole low-pass ladder VCF, and a VCA. The control voltages are digitally generated, featuring one LFO and two ADSR-type envelope generators. It also features a stereo digital effects processor with delay and chorus.
Oscillators
The Bree6 features a single VCO plus a sub oscillator per voice. The oscillator includes sawtooth and pulse waveforms, with pulse width modulation control that can be
modulated by the LFO. The oscillator tuning can be adjusted, and modulation can be applied from the LFO. The sub oscillator generates a square wave one octave below the main oscillator.
Filter
The Bree6’s filter is a 4-pole ladder-type low-pass filter with resonance control. It can be modulated by EG1, with velocity affecting the modulation depth, and can also be modulated by the LFO. It can also be controlled by the modulation wheel and aftertouch.
Chorus and Delay
The synthesizer offers a stereo ensemble type chorus effect. It simulates a string or vocal ensemble using multiple delay lines modulated by their dedicated LFOs.
The stereo delay can reach a maximum delay time of up to 1 second.
LFO
The Bree6 contains one LFO with selectable waveforms (triangle, ramp up, ramp down, square, and random with sample and hold). The LFO’s frequency can be set from 0.1Hz
to 100Hz, and modulation can be applied to the VCO, VCF, and VCA.
Envelope Generators
There are two ADSR-type envelope generators in the Bree6, designed for precise control over the dynamics of both the filter and the amplifier.
MIDI Polyphonic Expression
The synthesizer supports MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE), facilitating detailed performance dynamics when used with compatible MPE controllers. We’ve carefully
tested the Bree6 with Osmose, Linnstrument, and Geoshred.
