"Just a few words to let you know that I'm still here. I'm currently working on the new era of my music. It's heading in the direction I wanted it to go. I introduced you to the concept of Brussels School, which means everything and nothing, and I realize that it's ultimately something that suits me.

So what's next? I'll gradually introduce you to jams based on this concept. Rather long pieces that take the time to establish an atmosphere. Something absorbing, bewitching, with a hypnotic and almost insidious rhythm. Something along the lines of "Illusion" or "Hypnosis," which were two of the channel's top three hits. I take this as proof that I'm on the right path.

As explained three weeks ago, there will no longer be videos every week. They will arrive when they arrive. The long-term idea is to rework all these jams to create a real album centered around a single philosophy, but this is another story for later.

It was the success of these jams that motivated me to bring them together. Some of these pieces are unreleased. Little reminder of how I do this: I created several self-generating patches that play simultaneously and several sequences with modulation frequencies. The three LFOs of the Summit are playing ping-pong with each other. Of course, everything follows predefined rules to avoid a complete mess, it is NOT AI music. The LFO's just "modulate together" in harmony. It's basically FM synthesis. But FM can be hazardous, eventful or even crazy. It takes time to reach something pleasant and relaxing.

The Novation Summit and the Novation Peak do have a strong FM engine and these synths can be turned into a modular synthesizer. Then I just had to add some real-time effects on everything and off we go."

"A story that many electronic music artists have had to experience one day. While I was having a family dinner at Christmas, a nephew took his guitar, then an aunt, then a third one and the evening continued with improvised music. At the table, someone asks me if I also make music and I answer "yes but electronic ambient music", there was a silence. I could have said that I was a criminal, I would have received the same look from the people around me. So we talked about something else... sigh...

When I listen to Jean-Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze or Vangelis, people often say to me "ah, you put your music back on for depressed people?"...

When I started this channel, I didn't understand why it was so hard to progress, after that evening, things became much clearer. But that won't stop me from continuing to make the music I love :-)
