Pros:
- Can make complex sounds with the multilayering
- Excellent arpeggiator with very useable patterns
Cons:
- Filter sounds harsh and is quite steppy
- Some of the onboard FX sound like garbage"

"A demo of the Novation Super Bass Station. This 1U rack synth packs some 303 and MiniMoog sounds into a small package.

Pros:
- Fully analog
- Small 1U rack footprint
- Has 2 filter settings to emulate the classic 303 (12db) and MiniMoog (24db) sounds
Cons:
- Lacks the low-end one would expect from a bass synth
- Overall sound is a little flat
- Build quality is only satisfactory"

- Has the classic DX7 sound in a 2U rack space
- Can make a very wide range of sounds
- Interface is relatively easy to use
Cons:
- FM synthesis is difficult to program
- Presets are dated sounding (maybe a pro for some)"

- modulation setup is very useful
- easy to make it sound magical
Cons:
- plastic case is cheap feeling
- no midi (but includes CV ins)
- can't save patches (though taking pictures can help)"

Pros:
- amazing vintage analog sound
- it feels alive with electricity and has lots of subtle variations in the textures of the sound
- independent faders for each wave form means that 8 sounds can be playing at once (4 on VCO 1, 3 on VCO 2, and noise), creating huge sounds
Cons:
- no midi
- needs to be tuned on each use
- needs lots of maintenance (i.e., regular calibration)
- can't save patches and rarely sounds exactly the same twice

- can't save patches (though taking pictures can help)
