Yes that DIY Network. For those of you not familiar with the channel, the DIY Network is a TV network that shows nothing but DIY stuff, mainly home improvement. Believe it or not, they will be featuring a show on Moog Music on December 23, 2006, 10:00 PM Eastern. Now if I only had the DIY channel... Title link takes you to the current info. "This is a custom all-in-one organ/synth/keyboard that, in its prime, must have been a prog rockers' wet dream. It currently does not work, and has never worked since I've owned it.

I don't know who made this -- I bought it on eBay years ago and had it shipped from Ohio. I know it was put together in the 1970's and was used in a progressive rock band somewhere in the Chicago area.

Originally it was a Hammond BV, painted white, with a percussion kit added. The top was cut out and a custom metal board fitted in its place and also painted white. A Mini-Moog was originally mounted on the top right side. I removed the Mini years ago and it's not for sale. On the left top is a Moog Satellite that was custom-fitted to the top left, and it was triggered by the bass pedals (!!!). Down underneath you'll see the guts of an Arp String Ensemble. This was controlled by the lower keyboard of the Hammond (I'm not making this up). Finally, the Hammond itself plays on the top set of keys. You can also see in the picture a set of home made pedals.

There is extra wiring, switches, knobs, cables, pedals, and jacks that were all added by the original owner, whoever that was.

After I bought this thing I realized that it had been years since it had worked, and I was never able to get the Hammond, Moog Satellite, or Arp String Ensemble to work. I finally just took the Mini-Moog out, had it fitted into a new case, and kept it. It's the only part that I ever heard any sound out of."
