Dorkbot Melbourne Lecture by Paul Perry
via Lsocha.
"Paul Perry of Frostwave talks about being in the music equipment business, both from the business end, and from the music end"
You'll need to turn this one up. Be sure to turn the volume down again when done. : ) Also be careful with the levels when using headphones. And yes, Loscha was aware of this. It's a fascinating talk worth listening to. Paul Perry of course is the man behind Frostwave, maker of the Resonator MS20 filter clone, the Fat Controller sequencer, various stomp boxes and more. I have a Resonator and it's top notch. It's definitely one of my favorite filters if not my favorite, and it's built like a tank. Link to original 52M video.
Sticky Posts and The First Synth To....
I added a Sticky Posts section just above the Exclusive Interviews section on the right. The First Synth To... post is the first on the list.

Vermona M.A.R.S. With Controller
Details:
"The M.A.R.S. is a monophonic synthesizer which gives you real analog power in only one rackspace. VCOs, VCF and VCA are build-up discrete upon the classical structure - of course with some special functions - so everyone who know a little bit about analog synthesizers is able to program the M.A.R.S., although its user interface is menu-based.
The M.A.R.S. Control is an optional available programmer which controls each parameter of the M.A.R.S. All in all there are 56 controllers on it. The M.A.R.S. control doesn't need an extra power source, it gets the necessary voltage from the M.A.R.S. The programmer needs two rack spaces or can be used as desktop device."
