"Epic Rare, Frostwave Sonic Alienator, Bit crusher, Decimator pedal. Pedal works perfectly, and will mangle any audio source you run through it. Some minor scrapes to graphics, and case paint. Comes with, non original power supply."

Frostwave Resonator

via this auction

"Frostwave Resonator with the following features:

HP Res: controls the resonance of the high-pass filter.

HP Freq: controls the frequency of the high-pass filter

Level: controls the output level of the effect.

Balance: mixes the "dry" signal with the "wet" signal.

LP Res: controls the resonance of the low-pass filter.

LP Freq: controls the frequency of the low-pass filter

The Frostwave Resonator is a very versatile analog filter. It can take any weedy sample, loop, mix or instrument and give it some fat analog tone or some crunchy lofi grit.
It can create filter sweeps, from subtle to extreme, generate booming sub bass, and take any standard instrument or signal and give it an "analogue" sounding treatment- run a flat drum machine or sound loop via the resonator and you will get big analog drums and samples on the other side....
The Resonator can also self ossicate, creating spacey, atmospheric sounds on it's own without any input source. Combined with other effects some amazing and unique sounds can be generated."

FROSTWAVE THE RESONATOR - KORG MS20 Filter Clone

via this auction

"You are looking at a Frostwave Resonator analog filter pedal. Made in Australia, currently out of production. It is a Korg MS20 synthesizer filter in a guitar pedal box, combining resonant high pass and low pass filters with a good dose of CV control for both sides. Plug an expression pedal into it, or interface it with modular synthesizer gear."

With resonance turned up, this thing cuts like a knife.

Korg Mono/Poly SN 373627 w/ Frostwave MC1 Midi to CV Converter

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Included in the sale is a Frostwave MC1 Mid to CV Converter which allows control over pitch, trigger input and modulation. The power supply is fully functional, but has been repaired as the cable developed a split, so I recommend purchasing a new one (15VAC 500ma)."

White Noise - All Sounds Within

"white noise only with filters and resonators and reverb

Well Todd Barton got me started on this from a lecture a long time ago. White noise is a treasure trove of sound but like truffle in the forest you have to dig for it a bit. Its lurking there waiting to get out once the proper door is opened.

This is one starts out with the white noise source only but then gets filtered, resonated and reverbed returning to white noise at the end, the stuff in the middle is the interesting part, although quite random.

The different notes emerge from self resonating Frostwave Resonator filter (MS20 clone) receiving 4 sample and hold random CVs for hi and low pass cutoffs and resonator levels,

A Murf adds the percussive fun, an H9 does for echoes and reverb

mostly this is an experiment, proof of concept, not really a 'piece' so to speak, use headphones if you can, enjoy the ride.

Frostwave Space Beam

Published on Feb 15, 2017 Brian Comnes

"One used Frostwave Space Beam, spatial sensing oscillator with control outputs. A theremin like device it uses the distance of your hand to raise or lower pitch. Best of all is that it also puts out control voltage (CV) for pitch and gate. Pitch CV ranges from 0-10 volts continuous and the gate CV goes from 0-8 volts. You can select the wave form from sine to triangle to square wave. You can set the response time from fast to slow with glide switch and also the range of the frequencies from low to high. See the short video about this unit for more info.

This is a rare device out of production."

Recorded imperfectly direct to computer + mixed with ambient sound."

Frostwave Quad MIDI-CV Plus w/ Joystick Port

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

Only one previously posted here.

"The Frostwave Quad MIDI-CV Plus is a rare rack mount four channel MIDI to analogue CV converter made in Australia by the now defunct Frostwave company. The unit operates in three different modes including as a basic four channel CV converter where it interprets MIDI note number, velocity, and note on/off on any four adjacent MIDI channels and produces corresponding control voltages and gate voltages to control up to four analogue mono Synths.

Switches enable each channel to be either V/Oct (Roland, Moog, Arp etc) or Hz/V (Korg MS series). Gate polarity can be either positive or S-trigger (Moog) type.

There is also DIN sync output for vintage Drum Machines which can be locked to the MIDI tempo..."

Frostwave Blue Ringer Ring Mod pedal by Paul Perry

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"One used Frostwave Blue Ringer Ring Mod Pedal with power supply. Great shape, barely used, works great.

The Frostwave Blue Ringer is a true bypass box, with the standard ring mod controls of a wet/dry mix and oscillator frequency. There is a level control for the input signal, as well as a second input signal (allowing Input B to become the modulation source for the main input) and a blend control, determining the mix of the internal oscillator and Input B as the modulation source.

This particular ring modulator is excellent because it is a true proponent of the effect-- it will cross-modulate two signals. You can feed absolutely anything into Input B and have it ring modulate your main input (which is fantastic for vocal effects), and allows both the second input and the internal sine wave oscillator at the same time, offering a great deal of depth and variety. Similarly, when using just the internal oscillator, lessening the mix (i.e, adding more of the nonexistent Input B) lowers the gain of the oscillator, drastically changing the effect.

There is a control voltage input in the back for controlling the frequency of the oscillator (CV only-- Frostwave doesn't accept expression pedals, and are true to their modular synth ethos), allowing for realtime pitch sweeps. This input accepts both positive and negative voltage, so it's possible to sweep down from the slowest frequency setting, lowering the frequency to a slow tremolo..."
