Triadex Muse
images via this auction
"RARE TRIADEX MUSE. What is it? The Net is full of resources. It is a very rare piece of Electronic music history. From Wikipedia: "The Triadex Muse is the first digital musical instrument and was produced in 1972. It was designed by Edward Fredkin and Marvin Minsky at MIT. It is an algorithmic music generator: it uses digital logic circuits to produce a sequence of notes based on the settings of various parameters. It has four small sliders in that control Volume, Tempo, Pitch, and Fine Pitch. It is not known how many were made, but they are considered extremely rare. The Muse is the subject of U. S. Patent 3610801"

"At all events a panel is laid out intelligibly. Unlike Jupiter-8. A glamourous white woman. She can speak only English, but talk intelligibly. As for this, Jupiter-8 is so, but the reason is because it goes along the flow of the signal of the analog synthesizer which the flow of the sound says from left to right. It does not get a hint I want to watch first DX7 and call a parameter to a small window, and to change numerical value. When I play this one, I remember the face whom the Uncle friendly Tom Oberheim smiled." click here for more.
Plan b Model 15 Oscillator

"It is a good osc, it has a lot of inputs, The SAW and Sine are amazing. This thing is very cutting. I think it’s best suited for sound fx and buchla type sounds. But for me, I needed something that had a little better tracking stability. What else is good about this osc, well for sure, there are a lot of inputs, for fm, sync and cv, so much more than other eurorack vcos. So this is why I think for FX and weird stuff, this is a great VCO. The Fine Tuning knob was a big help as well, I wish more oscillators had this. I give it a 4 out of 5."

Mochika: bleeps und bloops

"Playing with my new Atomosynth Mochika... I ran it through a lame reverb effect on my mixer, but that's pretty much it. I was going to add some drums and stuff, but it doesn't sync via midi, and I don't have a midi sync to gate adapter yet. :(
