Korg Electribe EA-1 Custom Painted

"This is an original Korg Electribe EA-1 dual analog modelling synth/ sequencer. I have given it a custom paint job in bone white with orange highlights- this was originally intended to compliment the styling of the Jomox X-Base."

Synthesizers.com Q118 Instrument Interface Amplifier

images via this auction

"The Q118 module provides an interface for external input sources such as a guitar, microphone, etc. The incoming signal can be amplified up to 1000 times. An envelope output is created that will track the amplitude of the incoming signal. This envelope can be used to control filters, oscillators, and other modules. A gate signal is created based on a manual threshold control which can be used to trigger envelope generators or sequencers. An LED indicates gate signal output to aid threshold adjustment. A short trigger pulse is also provided. An output jack provides access to the amplified original signal for use by other modules.

Click here for more info on this module."

"some of my favorite things: 7 different waveforms on the oscillators, FM on the oscillators, 7 octaves on the osc., PWM on 4 types of the waveforms, run the filters in parallel or series, the BEST filters i have ever worked with :LPF is 24/36 dB with LP and BP and the MMF is 12/24/36dB with LP/HP/BP, both self oscillate. They both easily overdrive with high inputs."

Inside the V-Synth, part 3

You can find the full post on Sequence 15

"In this installment of Inside the V-Synth, we'll look at the V's onboard effects. The effects are divided into three blocks: multi-effects (abbreviated MFX on the panel and in the manual), chorus (which also includes some fixed delays), and reverb. Each of these blocks has a dedicated on-off button on the panel. All effects parameters are stored as part of the patch. One effect can be selected for each block at a given time."

Harvestman featured in PC World

"600 Bucks: So Much Money, So Little Time
We ask PC World staffers how they might spend their $600 economic stimulus payment.

Harvestman Modular Synthesizer
Peter Tripodi, Facilities Coordinator: Assuming I can get it together to find all my paperwork (I'm a tax "extentialist"), I'll probably spend the payment on a few modules for my ever growing modular synthesizer. Maybe a bitcrusher to offset its mostly analog composition. There's a voltage controlled 8-bit delay/looper by Harvestman that I've had my eyes on. Lo-fi? Sub-fi, baby!! Or I could get a Flame Midi-Talking-Synth; having dual Speakjets is like having two Stephen Hawkings doing bird calls and barnyard impressions at the twist of a joystick. That's what I call economically stimulating."
