in general: "in all of them you have the wld tx81z saw bass(and someties the classic solid/lately bass) the mfc42 is used on the saw bass regularely, giving it a 303 clone sound
a lot of the time I use the redsound as a traditional sampler instead of looping with it(actually, in this gig i didn't even use it to loop, just to load voice samples/noises
also, the ER1 goes thru a rat distortion+boss v-wha+delay and i wha it most of the time, sometimes with the formant filter, sometimes with the regular crybaby"
Mr_Union wrote in with a link to his flickr set, blog, and MySpace page. It's an interesting set. On his flickr pages you will see images of his work flow - what gear is connected to what. On his blog you will find tracks with descriptions on the gear and workflow used for each. His MySpace page of course has the final music created with the gear.
"A history of these units can be found at: link. Check out the matrixsynth link for details on how the first unit ran."
You can find all posts here. Note this does require software to interface with the Apple IIe, and that software is included in the auction according to the seller. There is also MIDI Conversion kit. You can find more info on it here.
YouTube via otisvue "3 channels/sounds in play - the gothic/doom-sound, the electronic buzz pattern (not from sequencer), and a low bubbling noise you can't hear well until it catches the echo. note how the 4-channel mix patterns (controls in upper left) affect how each signal is echoed without changing the analog echo controls."
YouTube via NYRADFilms. Trippy video - wish the audio was better on this one. Reminded me of The Cure's The Top days with the drums and color. "esting out his new Yamaha CS2X Control Synthesizer, it's The Jive Turkey Of Funkadelia... with his co-hort and partner-in-crime, The Honkey Cat.
Noodling around, finding the sound, in the TV19 studios, May 2001.
