MFOS Ultimate + Expander - Overview

YouTube via Thalassa77 — April 16, 2010 — "http://www.facebook.com/switchedonsyn...
http://switchedonsynthesizer.blogspot...

This is part of a personal project that I've been working over last few weeks. The MFOS Ultimate is a DIY project. It's a semi-modular analog synthesizer with 3 VCOs, 2LFOS , one AR envelope , one VCA , Sample and Hold and one Low Pass filter ( 12db/oct ) and more...

The synth has a pre-wired signal and audio path but also has a lot of patch points that allow the user to create very complex sounds.

To expand de synth , MFOS has designed the Ultimate Expander, that adds new features not presented on the Ultimate synth : * ADSR envelope * Multimode filter with Low pass, Band Pass and High Pass response * Ring Modulator * CV interter * Envelope Follower * 4 channel mixer * Another VCA

This video shows only the main characteristics of this powerful synth, I will make more videos showing more complex and interesting sounds.

O-GAWA for iPad -The Future Beat Machine- DEMO

YouTube via yudoinc — April 16, 2010 — "O-Gawa (Ou-Gawa) is Yudo inc.'s first iPad musical application and fully makes use of the screen.

●What is O-Gawa?
It consists on touching objects synchronized with rhythm loops. Loops play back can also be designated.
The manipulation is really simple and is the best suited for real time performance.
You can also enjoy the visual effects made by the synchronized lines and shapes drawn with your finger on the top of the screen.
This "rhythm machine" using the iPad's environment has evolved into the best performance tool.
It is really helpful to make tracks using electronic and techno sounds."

Eyegasm

Eyegasm from Glenn Marshall on Vimeo.
[Not a synth, but something to play your synth recordings with]

"Demo video of my new app for the iPad.

This is a direct video output from the iPad's HD screen which generates the animation in realtime at 1024x768.

It's based on my previous animations and 'Zio' - my iPhone app. It's created by complex algorithms and random generation, so you never get the exact same animation everytime you run it.

Music is Brian Eno.
