He built this EG in a basic panel to show how his designs can be used in the 5u format. Some of the sounds it produces remind me of The Who song "BABA O'RILEY"(also known as TEENAGE WASTELAND). Not trying to reproduce that sequence here, just experimenting with a similar 4 note pattern on the Q119 analog sequencer. This Envelope creates rhythm patterns that wouldn't normally occur using delays. Also simulates distortion effects when the repeat rate is MAX!!"
Mattson Modular EG with Synthesizers.com DEMO
"MrRitchieDrums — May 09, 2010 — George Mattson makes a mini modular system and also offers boards to make your own modules. He built this one using a simple 5u panel. It is running off my Synthesizers.com power supply. It will also work with MOTM power. This is a simple patch using 1-VCO, 1-VCF, 1-VCA & the MMM EG. The Q119 sequencer is producing a 12 note pattern"
YouTube via chamberofsounds — May 09, 2010 — "After extensive testing, I realized the Jupiter III would greatly benefit from the addition of a trigger input and touch-sensitivity. Now you can plug any source into it, even a simple metronome, to control the rhythm or make the unit sustain indefinitely. The volume of the input controls the dynamics of the notes. Also the touch-sensitivity feature lets you to use your finger-tips to play sustained notes in addition to Jupiter III's already super-cool. manual percussive mode (you can bang on the box). This little guy does it all - it's handmade. fully analogue and totally unique. Get one of a limited run today only from chamberofsounds.com"

All sounds in this demo (including drum and percussion sounds) were programmed on system 100m. For the "self propelled" sound example in the second part of this video an additional LFO was trans-patched from Korg MS-20 to Sys-100m.
YouTube via dracena — August 20, 2007 — "http://www.myspace.com/sarculator ---- I recently acquired a vintage analog modular synth Roland System-100m. Here are my first minutes with it. Just a few simple (!!) sounds and sequences. No fancy keyboard playing and no weird sound effects (not yet, until I learn to program it better ;) )...
System modules used in this demonstration: 181 - 49key keyboard 112 - dual oscilator x 2 121 - dual filter 130 - dual VCA 140 - dual envelope generator & LFO
"After refurbishing my Roland MC-4b vintage digital sequencer it's time to start usnig it. Two simple sequences combined into a simple evolving structure which maybe sounds a bit like early Tangerine Dream or perhaps like Giorgio Moroder's 70s style ?!?
Mc4 is trigering Roland System 100m vintage analog modular. Modules used in this demo: 181 - 49key keyboard 112 - dual oscilator x 2 121 - dual filter 130 - dual VCA 140 - dual envelope generator & LFO 150 - ring modulator, sample&hold, noise,LFO"
