"Here's a little teaser for the soon to be released Optigan Sitar & Tabla disc (official title tbd). This is some footage from the recording session featuring Rama Douglas on sitar and Justin DeHart on tabla. The keyboard will feature a variety of different sitar riffs (and possibly some harmonium notes on part of the keyboard), the chord buttons will have 15 different tabla loops, and the SFX tabs will have tamboura drones and other effects. More details coming soon at optigan.com!

"Live performance by Orb Vroomer on an Alternate Mode DrumKat. DK controls all synths & the midi lighting.
No tracks or sequences are used. This is 100 % live midi control.
Sounds lame next to TCM. It's stripped down. This song is super fun to perform.Hard to make it through without a missed note.......I'm sure I missed more than one. It's LIVE.
Hope you enjoy my little cover version. Thanks to Ken & Scott of The Crystal Method. They're the best." "Mostly E-MU. XL-1, Orbit"

via Acid Box Blues"This track started out life as a bit of messing around with a sh101 sequence. The sequence in the sh101 is triggered by LT trigger out from my tr606 with a bit of live building and the such. The sequence is then f...ed with by taking the Ht trigger out from my tr606 and running it through a Digitana Micro Punk Robot and sending the output of that into the CV in to the sh101. I later added drums and FX to the sequence.
Enjoy"

Andy Wig - Do you Heal, Immersion?
YouTube via arthurpainter | June 29, 2010 | 4:39
"Presented here is a transformation of the EML 400 sequence used in the previous video, but this time decimated by two Folktek devices, the Drumscape and the Subharmonic Field. It may be a kind of spontaneous disfigurement, but it seems to work."

"A bit of sound/imagery left over from "Do You Heal, Immersion?" This was then re-recorded to degrade the sound and to further abstract the imagery. Charming."
Atari 2600 Synthcart
via this auction
"Atari 2600 with Synthcart synthesizer cartridge, two keyboard controllers, 1/4" audio out and Highly Liquid MIDI aftermarket module! I purchased the Atari 2600 and MIDI module separately, had it installed by a licensed tech here in town. All the blippy, buzzy video game 8bit sounds are all here and controllable by MIDI. This is not software - this is the real thing and the difference is inarguably significant. Great for live performance as well."
