"This song has been recorded under use of several Simmons and Musicaid gear (Musicaid used to be Simmons' predecessor). The snare is a Musicaid Analog Clap Trap, the toms come from a Musicaid Simmons SDS3, the bassdrum is a Simmons SDSV tom. Blue Monday has originaaly performed by the great 'New Order'"

"Sibi Siebert, Simmons buddy from my hometown and former product manager of Simmons Electronic Drums, created a performance especially for the Ludwigsburger Trommeltage. Therefor I supported him with my SDX unit. My unit was even originally owned by Sibi. And now, 3 owners later, he is once more sitting behind it.... All sounds and loops are developped by Sibi and fired from the SDX. There is no additional playback in the mix"

"This video is supposed to give you an impression of this milestone in edrum history. It is still the most expensive edrum system of all times. I don't want to give many sound examples because in my oppinion the library is not that exciting, but all these advanced features (back in 1987!) have still a great influence on today's edrum systems and will have in the future of electronic drumming. Hopefully my English is not too bad...."
