"A very quick run through of scenes from a recent Cirklon song. It took me a couple of attempts before I recorded the sound OK hence it's not the smoothest performance. Apologies for the cough, seems a few of us picked that up in Berlin.
I realise that even by my standards the video is basic but I wanted to be the first to get some Cirklon tunes online. I suspect a lot will follow as people realise how cool this is."
"i only keep a handful of synths in the studio at the moment. the rest get swapped in and out of basement storage. i keep 'em in these garment bags to avoid any possible moisture or insect issues (tho it's pretty dry in the basement). eventually, my spare room will be finished and (hopefully) all my synths will fit in there at once."
via this auction "'The RE-101 replaced the earlier Roland RE-100 model and included improvements to build and quality. It was the basic model of the second range and did not include a spring reverb like the Roland RE-201. [1] Features included a new free running system that minimized noise, wow and flutter when the internal tape loop was running, this increased the tape life by 6-15 times (up to 300 hours of use).[1] Other new improvements included lower noise levels that improved the sound quality. "Midi program banks & editors are directly interchangeable with the Crumar Bit01, since this is the same design, but with rare Unique Systems cosmetics. Collectible AND sounds very cool and, well, unique, with digital multi-waveshape oscillators with their own sound, and real analog filters and VCAs."
