19 Pseudo Delay
YouTube via 7thDanSound | November 11, 2010
"By using the falling sawtooth on an LFO and controlling a VCA with it you can get delay like effects, completely in sync with your playing. You can even modulate the delay timing of the effect. Not the feedback though, unless you have a voltage controlled envelope."
Korg iMS20 vs the real MS20 - by modul8tor
YouTube via modul8tor | November 11, 2010
"Live demo & comparison between the Korg iMS20 for iPad versus the original analog synthesizer, the MS20.
Not an academical approach, just some playing to get you the idea with some tunes.
So what's the verdict, you may ask?
Well, its simple: if you happen to have an MS20 laying somewhere, go with that, else, buy the iMS20 and enjoy the drums section. :)
Please leave some feedback....
Go create some music!

Elektron Octotrack Update: The Audio Editor and Slice Points

The audio editor is where editing of imported or recorded samples takes place. The sample waveform is displayed graphically in the audio editor and for precise interaction waveform zoom and zero crossing search commands are available. A number of tasks are carried out in the audio editor. Trimming, loop point settings, normalization and, maybe most important of all, slice point handling.
Slice points
Slice points are markers that offer a flexible way of dividing a sample in different regions. Set the slice points either automatically by transient detection or manually by using the data entry knobs. Once the sample is sliced parameter locks can make different steps of the sequencer play back different sample regions. In the audio editor it is even possible to customize or randomize the playback of slice points. Keep shuffling the slice points around until the perfect loop is obtained. Slice points make it easy to break down samples and restructure them from the ground up."

Korg IMS-20, Hexfix93’s Take
toxiccomaims20.wav by Hexfix93. Uploaded with KORG iMS-20
"Interface:9.5
This is where the Ipad apps always shine: the ease of use, being able to tap the screen, use your finger on a knob and tweak it more like real hardware, in some cases better. In this case, I am floored. It’s a little strange at first look. At the top of the of the screen there are tons of these buttons, like synth, drum, effects global utility, etc. These navigate you to all the sections you need to jump to. What is really cool is that this is a semi modular synth, and you can tap and drag to connect virtual cables to the cv matrix on the right hand of the synth."

It can change a oscillator pitch smoothly, depending on the place which you press down. It was originally made as a kind of MOOG SYNTHESIZER's controller in late 60's. I made this following its example. And playing style is self-taught.
