Ravebox 101
"Ravebox features those classic rave sounds from back in the day. It's so simple to use, just mix the different tunes, breaks, and beats, drop a fat bassline and hit the samples on the keyboard to make your own banging rave anthem.
You can also use Ravebox while songs are playing on your iPod to create your own mix!
Works best with headphones or plug it into your stereo and start raving now!

***Please note***
Make sure you're not in vibrate mode or the keyboard won't work.
Ravebox is compatible with iPhone/iPod touch iOS4 (it can be slow on 1st generation iPhone because of older processor)."

"This short piece is on it's way to becoming something; I'm going to add samples and make a crisp recording with it. The Moog is being run through no effects - pure synth sound. Sorry about he sound quality."

A musical analysis of Oxygene 2, 4 & 6 - Jean Michel Jarre - Part 1 : Rythmics, by Thierry Lebon
YouTube via tlnet37 | November 25, 2010 | 0 likes, 0 dislikes
"An musical analyze of Oxygene, track after track, to make a cover with 95% pure analog and 5% digital.
In this first part, I try to reproduce the rythm played in the original part 2 of JMJ's Oxygene, with the Korg MiniPops 7 ; here, I used a standalone free application called Rythmus by ElektroStudio.
Here, you can adjust the volume of each sounds, the pan, the tune, the volume and the global tempo ; 2 presets are used simultaneously : Beguin and Slow Rock.
It is very near from the original, isn't it ?
The second part will show you how to make all noises with Roland SH-101, Roland Juno-6, Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy and Small Stone Phase Shifter.
See you soon ! cheers from Thierry"

BugNewsNovember - MicroCrusher
"After a 2 year hiatus, a new standalone BugCrusher design is available - the MicroCrusher (μCrusher). This is similar to the previous BugCrusherMicro but with a few updates and a new presentation. Where before there was just a single Rate Reduction dial, there is now a Blend dial as well to increase the flexibility. Building methods mean that I can't now make stompable pedals, but I've included a Footswitch jack socket to allow hands-free use.
An initial batch is now available online and I aim to keep this design in production for the forseeable future - there should be semi-regular batches as I've been doing with the Weevil designs. There will be a further 15 units available within a month and then more around January time - so hopefully this alleviates the need for a mad stampede to the online store!
** ** ** ** **
At this point I've also decided to put the two Weevil designs to sleep - the Board & Postcard Weevils have proved extremely fun and popular but I feel it is time to change things about a bit. The final batches of both designs are now online - once these are gone there will be no more! Over the last 2 years around 350 BoardWeevils have been born.
(I haven't yet got any new designs to fill the Weevil spaces.. Maybe something next year..)
** ** ** ** **
The final batch (for a while at least) of the WOM Pro kits is online too - great for a Christmas present perhaps?

That wraps things up for now.
Cheers to all,
Tom"
