"This is my take on what iPad instruments need to do to be playable. If you see some of my users doing non-constructive criticisms of other instruments (specifically yours! :-) ), please don't take it too seriously. I don't do that myself, and it bothers me. Some of Mugician's evolution was guided by Jordan Rudess' Morphwiz, Roger Linn's Linnstrument, and the many things I learned working with Leon Gruenbaum's Samchillian (my Xstrument instrument is a derivative of it)"

28 Steep Decline (72dB Lopass)
YouTube via 7thDanSound | December 06, 2010 | 1 likes, 0 dislikes
"In this video I patch up all the filters I have in series to get the steepest slope low pass filter possible, 72dB! It gets pretty meaty already at 36dB but 72 sound like it could kill people! The filters are two synthesizers.com Q107 (gotta lov'em), an STG Soundlabs Post Lawsuit Lopass Filter and an STG Soundlabs Mankato.

72dB Jam by 7thDanSound
"I patched together all the filters I have in my modular to one meaty big 72dB slope mother of a low pass filter! I bet you could kill people with the bass from this patch. This recording is a few minutes of playing around with the patch, changing the cutoff (of all filters at once) and modulating the cutoff with an LFO and an envelope. I also raise the resonance of the individual filters here and there.
I tried feeding back the output of the patch back into itself to get resonance through the whole chain but to no avail... Any one know what I did wrong?"
Access Virus TI 3 Keyboard
via Nova Musik"New from Access!!! The new TI 3 Keyboard. The new Access TI 3 is now compatible with both Mac and PC. It can be used with VST, AU and RTAS. 104 non-velocity sensitive keys can be used and programmed to macros for any soft synth or recording program. They can even be used to type up those reports that are due at your job tomorrow. Shouldn't you be doing those now instead of looking at this? These are finely crafted in China by the 1,000's by machines. Never mind the Dell sign. It is there for cosmetic purposes. We liked it ok."
Early NAMM report?
Update: Mr. Array (Soviet Space Child) spotted the following on infekted.org:
"hey guys,
as you might have seen, we have a great special in the Access Music Store this weekend: 20% discount on everything, including Virus TI synths, soft bags and other accessories.
now the reason why i bring this up on the forum is a comment posted to our facebook page. we were ask if we are clearing stock and make room for a new Virus TI which we will announce on NAMM in january. the answer is: no. the virus TI line will not be discontinued, in fact there will be software feature updates in the future - details i cannot disclose at the time being but we will do everything to make you smile

Creating a Jd 800 style lead with the Fantom G

Fantom G interface video.
"I decided to make a short instructional video on making a lead like that from the Roland JD800 with the Fantom G.
I know I rushed through it, my playing is shite, and I know I made a lot of mistakes in my speech. My presentational skills are awful and I get really stuttery and confused when i'm on camera, so deal with it. The only way to improve is to keep trying! So anyone who just wants to tell me I suck, I know."

"demonstrating in this short video the potentials of a huge multi touch screen as the ipad , the app used is the korg electribe, a touch screen reproduction of the legendary original analogue machine, the result is pretty cool considering the small time spent on it.. no jailbreak required."
