LiquidHiHat-V1-00-TestingBeforeModding-Feb0511.AVI

"This is the beta test build of Hexinverter's PCB of my Version 1.00 of the Liquid HiHat that I innovated back in 2008. It worked basically perfectly right off the bat.
In this vid. I give some brief ideas on how the unit sounds, with it's 2 x VCOs being modulated by 2 x triangle waveform LFOs as well as 1 x Attack / Decay envelope generator.
I have 2 modifications that I wish to do to this PCB. If either 1 or both of them are successful, the next PCB will be changed to reflect this - bumping it's version # up, to V3.00.
Along with all of the HORRIBLE volume changes due to my faulty mixer, I hope you're able to enjoy this vid. :) More vids of it should be coming as testing progresses. :)"
Swan Lake UVB Style

"You'll either get what's going on here or you'll just think, "???". Exciting stuff to me, perhaps to some of you as well.
I'm using the Elektron Octatrack to recreate the sound of the UVB-76 Swan Lake broadcasts. A combination of the Octatrack's filter distortion, SSR, BRR, and Lo-Fi Dist are animated with LFOs to approximate the broadcast. The distorted harmonics that appear are as disturbing as those in the original. Expect this UVB-76 project to happen mid-2011."
Snyderphonics MantaMate in the Works
via Snyderphonics:
"I am working hard on the MantaMate, a device that will allow Manta users to perform without a computer, and to directly control analog synthesizers. It will also be a powerful general-purpose converter between USB devices, MIDI devices, OSC over ethernet, and control voltage (supporting several voltage standards from Eurorack to Buchla to Moog to Serge to Korg). It even has a built-in digital synthesizer, so that it's possible to perform with only the Manta and a MantaMate. I don't have a set date for release right now, but stay tuned!"
