Control Synthesis - Deep base nine

"Got it today and just having a play. Controlling it using my MC-09.
Rather cheap 303 clone (not a great clone but can still use it for acid house)"
Control Synthesis Deep Bass Nine
Roland MC-09
YouTube via overfiendau | April 01, 2008 |
"The roland MC-09 really is fun as hell. Not very well known and much cheaper then a 303 (ok so it's not as great as a 303 but its close!).
This is a video is of my first go (after a read of the manual). I hope i can make something a little more worth while for my next video, this is more of a demo."
ROLAND SH-2 2VCO monophonic vintage synth

"A great sounding synth with 2 vco's and sub oscillator, great for bass and wide leads."

Fender Chroma Polaris Analog Synthesizer W/ Ribbon Mod
"The problem always lies with the ribbon. they made the connector for the membrane panel to the PCB this thin flat plastic with silver conductor PRINTED on the plastic. Almost all Chroma Polaris boards have a problem where over time this plastic becomes brittle and cracks... Hence no more working membrane buttons!
I have performed a "ribbon mod" on this board. There is really no standard way to do this. I've seen some people drill holes through the top of the board and add physical buttons, but then the board isn't original and doesn't have the original feel or look. I used standard (not to mention modern) flat Cat5 cable and standard Cat5 connectors to make an incredibly stable mod.
Other than the mod, the board is in very good cosmetic condition. No major flaws or scratches. The original wood sides are in great shape. All jacks have been tested thoroughly, and work perfectly (including the MIDI in and out/thru!)."
