An electronic instrument, often played with a keyboard, that combines simple waveforms to produce more complex sounds, such as those of various other instruments

Traditional Sample-based synthesis:
One of the easiest synthesis systems is to record a real instrument as a digitized waveform, and then play back its recordings at different speeds to produce different tones. This is the technique used in "sampling". Most samplers designate a part of the sample for each component of the ADSR envelope, and then repeat that section while changing the volume for that segment of the envelope. This lets the sampler have a persuasively different envelope using the same note."

"This is my new Diode Ladder filter. It has an 8 Stage 1N4148 Diode Ladder. It sounds very nasal and vocal. I built and had the PCB CNC made for me.

The resonance is very stable and does not screech or suffer from scratchy pot syndrome. It has a LP, BP, and HP input. There is a FM Bi-polar input also.

The module is Euro Rack standard size. It has a surgery green color panel made of Aluminum. I calibrated the Cutoff range under a 12v Powersupply. There is a Trimmer that can change the cutoff range to your liking."
