"Following a somewhat trashy treatment of Gilbert Desmée poem with the same "BuchlaPoemTransformPart2" patch. At 0'30, the voice of Gilbert went before going to the Buchla in the Ems Synthi Aks emulation Ludwig Rehberg, Ems Avs Vst). The patch allows the Avs to deal with a radical voice, with very percussive effects (1'20, 2'15, and 4,33) combined with a random sequence produced by the Avs in the first two oscillators. The Osc 2 module while the first 3 in LFO modulates Osc Osc 2. The voice becomes true electronic instrument.

OP-1 Live Performance
YouTube Uploaded by djthomaswhite on Mar 20, 2011
"Okay, this one deserves a long description. I wanted to test the FM Radio out. I figured I should learn how to sample at the same time. I knew the drum sampler has 12 seconds sampling time and can cut the 12 second sample up with map points to play pieces of it across the keyboard. So, I turned on the FM radio as the record input and found the Soul Man song playing on a station. I recorded 12 seconds of it. I then mapped certain points of it to keys in the drum sampler. Then I started the Pattern Sequencer so I could sequence the samples into a 4 beat loop. Once I had 4 Pattern Sequencer tracks of the sample playing I recorded it to Track 4 of the Tape.
Then I needed a back beat. Dialed up the Drum Sampler, made a 16-step beat sequence with Pattern Sequencer and recorded it to Track 1 of the Tape.
Decided to then try the internal Microphone to see if the Tape could be used like a plain old 4-Track recorder. Yep. I recorded myself singing some Soul Man stuff to Track 2 of the Tape and overdubbed around 4 takes. Overdub is always on so you simply have to let it loop to layer your voice or other instruments. NOTE: Could make an excellent guitar looper by the way.
Track 4 of the Tape would be a second set of my vocals, this time with some sustained notes, overdubbed to thicken my cheap voice.
That was the basis if what I planned in total. But my finger accidentally hit one of the keys when I was in Tape mode. The drum sequencer was still on playing the drum pattern. Hmmm... so I changed the drum kit to the FM sample slot where the Soul Man samples were. The drum pattern made the 4 beat loop repeat every beat. I added Punch FX to filter this loop sound and assigned the G-Force motion sensor to control the filter Frequency of the Punch FX.
Add it all up with some ridiculous dance moves, arm pumping and live tweaking in my living room and you have this video. I knew this OP-1 would be cool. But I am starting to think it may be a game changer for me and my music process. Research continues. Back to the lab for more experiments..."

Roland JD-800 Synthesiser
"24-voice polyphonic and 6-part multitimbral with a five octave “semi-weighted” keyboard which is extremely responsive to play. As you can see it’s covered with sliders and knobs and buttons, which is the secret to its very immediate programmability: this is both a player’s and a programmer’s dream machine."
TEISCO S-100P PRESET ANALOGUE MONOSYNTH WITH AFTERTOUCH & BUILT-IN SPRING REVERB
via this auction
"Along the lines of a Roland SH2000, made in Japan c.1979.
32 presets with controls for further modification. Keyboard aftertouch for Filter, Vibrato, 'Wow' & 'Brilliance'.
Built-in Flanger & built-in Spring Reverb (fantastic!)
This gives those nice mid 70s Library/ Soundtrack sounding tones. Very full & warm sounding, & works well with external effects. Stick the internal reverb on, put it through a fuzz pedal for some great sounds! Put it through another synth or filter pedal to get more resonant synth tones."

YAMAHA CS-15 SN 5409
via this auction
"This is a very versatile 37 key 3 octave monophonic synthesiser with higher pitch priority. It has 2 independent tuneable VCO’s producing Sine, Square or Triangle waveforms with each VCO having their own Mixer and VCF-VCA channels. There is also an in built noise generator and inputs & outputs for control volts & triggers for both VCO’s. There are controls for portamento, pitch bend & brilliance and master volume, a headphone output and high & low level audio outputs. It is a U.K. model and runs on mains voltage which is selectable for 110,130,220 or 240 volts at 50/60 Hz. (see photo No. 8)...
I have the original owners manual for the synth and an original official Yamaha service manual which contains 28 pages of full circuit diagrams, parts list, servicing and calibration information and a separate enlarged (approx 3ft. X 2ft) foldout full circuit diagram. This manual is probably more rare than the synthesiser and may be worth a fair bit on its own, however it seems like it makes sense to bundle it with the synth."
Atomolabs Medussa Bass Synth/Sequencer
"Atomolabs Medussa Bass Synth/Sequencer
This is an interesting sequencing synthesizer. I have had it for a while, but I am not using it anymore, so I am selling to save up for somthing else I want.
You do have to program the patterns to use this synth.. It is very simple to use, but requires some patience and skill. It would be good to use in live performances or in the studio.
Here is the manual! :)
* At the bottom there is a row of four buttons, pressing the "+>" button, you can find the parameter you want to edit (pattern number, tempo, midi sync, pattern edit or save). (This is a 16-step sequencer.)
* Then use the pitch knob to change the pitch of the step. Use "0" to put a rest on the step. Press OK to continue for other steps in the pattern.
* Use the other knobs to customize the sound just like any synth.
* Can be triggered by external MIDI.
* Runs on 120v AC, power cord included.
