M-Z3R0 - circuit bent 'NOTHINGSTAR' synthesizer

via this auction

"Fitted with pitch control, distortion, M-Z3R0 death industrial delay circuit with filter, rate and feedback controls, pitch LFO with rate and depth control and atari punk console square wave oscillator.

Modified to the extreme, this beast can kick out an unlimited amount of glitching, noise and mayhem.

it has loads of internal sounds which can be mashed up with the embedded circuitry i've added as well as merged with the APC square wave for dual oscillator tones.

I've used one of these for some time to create hundreds of drum samples and bizarre incidental sounds.

This is a machine you'll have a lot of time for whenever you require something a bit crazy to drop into your tracks. You could pull off an entire power electronics set using this machine alone.

Don't be fooled by it's cute appearance. Make no mistake, these things are beasts :)"

"Quick demo of another modded lo-fi machine. Delay with feedback, rate and feedback filter, LFO, atari punk console square wave oscillator, extreme pitch and distortion.

Massive source of weird and nasty samples and a cool bit of kit for live noise sets and power electronics based projects.

If you're on facebook and vaguely interested in any of this. Look up manufactured-Z3R0 for updates on what's under construction, being messed with and researched and what's up for sale."

Circuit Bent Talking Teacher

"includes these mods:
2) glitch switches that create random sounds
1) loop with advance switch for Tone/Beat Looping
1) fuzz/distortion switch
1) reset switch
1) 1/4" output jack

with volume control
1) super slo-mo depth pot (the pitch can be slowed down to sputtering bits or sped up like a chipmunk for awesome sound effects and lo-lo rumbling bass)
1) optical sensor (for theremin type of work and other far out sound drops) just wave your hand over the lens, there is a switch that turns the optical lens on/off."

work in progress - ADDAC System .wav Player Experimentations

via Konstantin Gervis on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge
"I've recorded balalaika, electric* and acoustic guitar specifically for using with the .wav player. Also I had recordings of prepared upright piano from a few years back that I've also used as well as some real drum set recording played with brashes and heavily processed in Ableton.

*electric guitar: Japanese strat clone > MXR Dynacomp > EHX Pulsar > line6 EchoPark > EHX Holygrail Plus > Orange Crush 15 > sm58 > FF800

here I am messing around, trying ideas and getting to know the module. As everything is sync locked in our studio there is also some MD and a bit of MPC1K as well as some Stupid Design steppenotter, Vtol's Volfram and my partner's Korg EMX.

to keep things mostly in a modular world there is also Z3000mk2 and Anti Oscillator no detailed patch notes, sorry, but the audio signal path is detailed in each demo in the soundcloud.

Please keep in mind that I wasn't concerned with the overall tuning of the oscillators so much as with the modulating the .wav player, just wanted something running to keep things interesting and related."
