MAM / HDB / Vermona 'Mini Syncussion DRM 2' Analog Kick Drum Synth
"This extremely rare piece is the single 'DRUM' channel from the famed DRM and Syncussion series of analog drum synthesizers made by MAM / Vermona. It is also comparable to the new 'Kick Lancet' from Vermona as you'll notice that other than the additions of Time, Noise, and Wave it has the same controls (Distortion is now called Balls). It was designed to deliver solid analog kick drums which it does with ease, covering the range from bass heavy sponginess to clicking hard edged thumps. It also produces some unmistakable mono synth type effects and basses with the decay set long. Identical to its full sized counterparts, the DRUM channel has eight knobs to model your tones: Decay, Pitch, Bend, Attack, FM Int, FM Freq, Distortion, and Volume. There is also a manual trigger on the front so you can tweak your sound and hear the results in real time without any need for a computer or external trigger. On the back it has a mono output, midi in, and power in. It responds to Midi note on / off and velocity; there is no patch memory or presets - only tweak as you go analog goodness! Enjoy"

Last few days to donate now: Source of Uncertainty Buchla Concerts and Modular Synth Fair
"The Model 266 series of programs features interviews with pioneering and contemporary musicians working with legendary Buchla synthesizers, as part of Source of Uncertainty. This segment features Buchla tech Mark Verbos.
Mark Verbos (NYC) is a music producer, mixer, and analog synthesizer technician. Heavily involved in electronic dance music, Mark's releases have spanned the genres of techno, rock, acid, house, pop, and electro. Mark has been involved with Buchla synthesizers since a young age, repairing modules under the technician and designer, Grant Richter. Since then he has become the go-to expert for Buchla repair and modifications. Although Mark performs on multiple Buchla machines, this performance will feature solely the 200 and 200e.
These programs are produced in relation to Source of Uncertainty, a pair of concerts organized by Harvestworks, ((audience)) and River-to-River Festival, taking place on June 28th, 2012 and July 7, 2012.
Model 266 is hosted by Alexis Bhagat and produced by Abby Echiverri."

Yamaha CS 50
"This was releases [sic.] just one year before the CS-80, its just a smaller version of what came after it. Its 4 voice, 49 key with aftertouch sensitivity that can control many features. The sound is amazing, one of my favorites for years. Even the 13 presets with a little ring mod sound great!"
The CS60 added four voices for a total of eight, the ribbon controller and the single mini slider patch memory on the top left.
