"Junost - 21 is a portable polyphonic keyboard Electro-Musical Instrument (EMI). A player can hang it on a shoulder.Timbre of sound can be changed in accordance with players desire by the use of controls or choosing one or 12 programed timbres with digital indication of chosen one.
Device changes sounding during playing composition using such effects as chorus, unison, transposition with continuous and coarse control, frequency and timbre vibrato with continuous frequency, depth and delay time control, fixed and dynamic change of timbre,attack and fading of sound. Attack, fading and level of envelope of the filter. Filter's cutoff frequency control from the keyboard.
Control panels are made out of shockproof polystyrene. Power unit is made as an individual part. There is a leather belt to hang the instrument on a shoulder. There is a special case out of veneer ("crocodile style") for carrying purposes. A power source with voltage within +/- 10 Volts is included. (220v to 110v converter included).

Freddy Fresh's EMS PUTNEY VCS3 SN 168 For Sale

"Up for sale here is one of the rarest synthesizers on the planet- an EMS VCS3 "Putney" Analog Lab Synth. As you can see from the pictures, this one is in excellent condition- especially due to its age and very early serial- (Serial #168-made in 1969.) This one comes from the private collection of Freddy Fresh, and the synth has been well-cared for. Everything on this synth is original, and no modifications have been made during Mr. Fresh's ownership. Some of the patch panel pins are originals, and some were purchased in more recent years from EMS directly.
Upon testing- the synth appears to be fully functional, but could use a calibration and a good patch panel cleaning! Also- the red led light in the Envelope Shaper section is burnt out- (the envelope module works fine.... just the lamp is out. These lamps are readily available, and would be easy to replace during a general service.) Mr. Fresh recalls the last time he had this synthesizer cleaned/serviced was in the late 90's- (so it is due for a "once over" ;)"

"This synth is being sold as is for parts. It's missing all the CEM series chips, one LM3080 and one SSM2020 Chip. The top octave divider and everything else (other SSMs?) is present and would be really useful to anyone who does repairs on old synths like the Stratus and Trilogy."
