Note the previous 911 EG had an SN of 765-1-70 1615. It appears the second box with 1614 and 1615 are the unit numbers. It's interesting that the effective serial numbers for early Moog modules were split into two boxes.

Gibson Maestro Rhythm n Sound G-1 Guitar Synth

"Here is a super clean Maestro G-1 that was just found in the attic of an old music store. The owner of the store said that's his handwriting from 1968 or 9 on the price card. He forgot about it in the attic storage until this last month.

I have fully tested and played with it for several hours, it is fully functional, smells amazing, sounds amazing, and is a real stunner! Instant Beach Boys! The tracking is amazing, the sounds are fresh today, cool drums triggered from pick attack of the guitar, an immaculate octave down string bass, a nasty fuzz octave down, incredible filters, tons of control, infinite possibilities and will work with any 1/4" input."

"Excellent cosmetic condition. Some small marks and scratches on the outside tolex covering. Excellent condition considering its age.
100% fully working.Tuning is very stable.
Just been serviced including replacement of 80% of the electrolytic capacitors and IC op-amps.

Korgs first fully polyphonic keyboard released in 1976 and it does not disappoint. . This was the real deal at the time as reflects the high cost (over 250,000 yen in 1976 !) and was used by Jean Michel Jarre. As per normal for this time its built into a case with a removable top section. The build quality reflects the cost , everything feels solid and aesthetically quite a beautiful synth.

Being a 70's synth presets are included and although they can be modified through the filter section, the envelope section is unalterable . Where this synth shines is the control button which enables user creation of sounds. It enable the envelope section (attack ,delay ,sustain) and waveform bank (square ,saw ,chorus) . The envelope section is very nice enabling very long sustain and fully polyphonic means you can create very dense sustained chords where previous notes are fading off slowly very much like the sustain pedal on a piano except you have control over the release. Turn the octave coupler knob (adds in a note octave above) and then pitch expand (detune) and you can create some very thick lush sounds.
In additon to this is a beautiful filter section "traveller" which is basically a high pass and a low pass filter.
Additional controls such as glide and damper require an external foot pedal to operate.
This item is 100v 50/60hz you may need a power converter depending on your country."
