"Jomox Sunsyn Mk1 eight voice analog synthesizer. This synth is very rare, less than 200 made and you don't see them come up for sale more than a couple times a year. There is a reason for that: they sound incredible! My favorite analog synthesizer, amazing analog sound that's very unique. NOTHING sounds like a Sunsyn. The routing and modulation capabilities are great and it's all very easy to use and hands on with minimal menu diving. The RCO's are fantastic and the variable four pole filter is one of the best I've used. It can do classic analog synth sounds but with the RCO and routing it reaches into new territory. This synth is in excellent shape and fully functional. This is a V1, very late SN 016x. Being a later SN it is a bit more stable than some of the earlier ones... I would take this over other modern synths like the Andromeda and older stuff like Memorymoog or Prophet 5. It seriously sounds that good, a king for pads and modulation effects."

Psychedelic Sand in Paradise // Korg Radias

Published on Apr 15, 2013

"Basicly the music is a experience by trying out the filters, modulation sequencer and arpeggiator of my new Korg Radias. I think the title describes the sound very well. After a short intro the video will show you some impressions of the ProLight-Sound exhibition in Frankfurt. If it's possible for you depending your (or YT's) stream watch in full screen mode and listen with headphones."

"Quick Serge patch. Nothing too exciting.
Just Creature/Gator and some reverb from eventide Space.
One interesting thing about it is using the right side of the TGC as a ghetto VCA."

Diamond Rings performs Runaway Love live in the Moog Sound Lab

Published on Apr 15, 2013 MoogMusicInc·232 videos

"Diamond Rings, aka John O' Regan, was a long way from Toronto when he stepped into the Moog Sound Lab, but he made himself right at home reshaping "Runaway Love" off of 2012's Free Dimensional. The androgynous glam star strays away from the up-tempo, euphoric dance cuts heard on his recent full-length to give way to an organic sound that is both raw and dreamy, thanks to an arsenal of Moog synthesizers.

O'Regan carries the song's lead on a Moog Guitar played through an MF-104M Analog Delay.

Keyboardist Karl Skene does double duty commanding melodic lines from a Moog Little Phatty while using a Minimoog Voyager for ambient modulated sounds. Skene used Ableton Live software to trigger programmed bass lines from the Voyager stationed in front of guitarist Graham Van Pelt, who also played Moog Guitar through an MF-102 Ring Modulator, creating an expressive tremolo effect.

Greg Santilly laid down the drums, using a Trap Kat drum controller to trigger 100% analog percussion from 3 Minimoog Voyager RMEs.

Diamond Rings reworks Runaway Love into something completely new while keeping the heart and soul of the original song.

mattson mini modular, bass drum driven clock

"thought it might be novel to use a bass drum to send clock pulses to the sq-816. unfortunately, this bit of insight was not accompanied by any great ideas as to what kind of sequence, or drum beat would really make this more compelling, sigh! anyhow, this is a short clip of the setup in action.
