"Just a video of the Dark Energy being run into the new Modcan Dual Delay, I just have a basic Arp coming from Ableton via the DEII's USB MIDI in, the innerclock syncgen-IILS is providing the pulses for the delay syncs.

I just fiddle with the knobs there isn't much in the way of modulation happening which I will elaborate on in a later video, the delay sure does sound good though and its functionally VERY deep!

Oh and the Dark Energy II has its filter being modulated at audio frequency rates by a Pittsburgh Oscillator, which is having its pitch controlled by the Dark Energies MIDI note CV out."

"Made In 1979... This machine has just been recently serviced, and is in excellent working condition. It has also been modified/upgraded with a 1/4" mono line-out jack, and mini selector-switch for line-out or internal speaker operation. The internal speaker is working and sounds great with no buzzing. Cosmetically, this Remco synthesizer is in great condition with some deterioration to the paper graphics to mention. The Remco FX runs on one 9v battery for hours and hours of psychedelic operation! The latch for the battery compartment has broken off, and is now replaced with high quality/durable 3M velcro. The Remco FX Sound Machine contains the Texas Instruments IC SN76477, which is the same chip used in the original Space Invaders arcade game, as well as many other classics!.."

"Just finished breadboarding a new VCA module. This allows for Voltage control of morphing the modulation from no modulation through Amplitude Modulation through Ring Modulation with a 0-5V CV.

Pretty awesome stuff!

"The Audio Frequency Generator (AFG) is probably the most comprehensive VCO for the 3U modular system in Eurorack form factor. It is a massive and great VCO with partly totally new features like the complex "harmonic animation" section. It provides an enormous variety of waveforms and timbres and allows extensive modulations with knobs and CVs. The AFG even has its own sub-oscillator and also does linear FM. The Livewire Audio Frequency Generator is designed with expandability in mind and there will be modules which are intended to further expand upon the AFG’s sound shaping capabilities.

harmonic animation
the harmonic animation section of the afg controls the harmonic content of the animated pulses & alien saws waveforms.

the animated pulses waveform is synthesized by four control parameters, each having a manual adjustment knob and cv input with dedicated attenuator:
positive pulse width modulation (+pwm) – controls the width of the two pulses on the top (or positive) side of the waveform
negative pulse width modulation (-pwm) – controls the width of the two pulses on the bottom (or negative) side of the waveform
positive phase position modulation (+ppm) – controls the relative phase position of the two positive pulses (in relation to each other)
negative phase position modulation (-ppm) – controls the relative phase position of the two negative pulses (in relation to each other)

the alien saws output is a bizarre, multi-toothed saw waveform that is derived from the animated pulses waveform. it’s harmonic content is also synthesized by the four control parameters of the harmonic animation section, but in different and more enigmatic ways"
