"http://www.Alfred.TV READ ME FIRST: I was very fortunate to procure a limited edition Solaris Synthesizer, designed by John Bowen. Shipping from Germany, it was unfortunate that it suffered a bump that dislodged a daughterboard, rendering half of the keyboard useless. This was soon resolved by "The Mighty Mighty AdamB", where, reprising his role as the "Synth Doctor" the Solaris was opened and the daughterboard was secured.

Was this relatively simple procedure of plugging in a loosened connector enough to make a watchable and entertaining video with a run time of 20 Minutes? I guess we will find out, based on your "likes" and comments.

"A mfos lfo controls a a fonik cmos adsr which controls another cmos adsr which controls the make noise maths which controls the din sync modseq. Everything except the modseq controls the pitch on the 2x Frequency Central System X Oscillators. The modseq plays russian roulette with the Hearn Morely Stereo filter whose outputs are fed into 2x Frequency Central System X VCA's."

"The Model 261e Complex Waveform Generator features voltage-controlled modulation of pitch, amplitude, and timbre, and a multi-dimensional, voltage-controlled timbre space. All of the 261e's timbre processing is performed by analog circuitry, thus eliminating the aliasing that can be introduced by waveshape table driven systems.

A separate modulation oscillator can be synchronized to the principal oscillator or to note-on MIDI messages. Its waveshape is voltage controllable, and can be continuously varied from sine to pulse. The modulation oscillator can track the pitch of the principal oscillator with variable offset.

In conjunction with the model 225e MIDI Manager, the 261e's pitches respond to internally routed MIDI messages. Up to four 261's can peacefully co-exist in a single system, each with its private MIDI channel.

As in all 200e series modules, the settings of the 261e's pots and switches can be memorized as a part of a preset configuration. You'll need a 225e or 206e to accomplish this."
