"Another sneak preview of the upcoming Quad Clock Distributor (QCD) eurorack synth module from 4ms. The QCD is a four-channel CV-controlled Clock Divider/Multiplier with individual Resets on each channel. Each channel also has a Div/Mult knob that goes from /64 to x64. The Expander module adds Pulse Width control via CV and knobs.
In this patch, the QCD is triggering every sound event. The red and black channels modulate various aspects of the "lead" and "rave siren" sound. The 4ms PEG plus the Doepfer A-156 quantizer is used for the "sequencer" (both pinged/triggered by the QCD). The kick and hi-hat are triggered by the rising and falling edges of the Red and Green channels respectively. Both these sounds are made by running the QCD output into a Machinedrum trigger input (no sequencing is done by the Machinedrum, it's all done by the QCD!)
In the back of the QCD, there's a header to connect to the QPLFO (Quad Pingable LFO) to drive triangle/saw/ramp waves that are timed to the QCD's clocks."
