"This is an original 1972 print ad for Arp 2600 synthesizers! It measures approximately 7" x 5" overall, has no tears or stains, comes from a dry, high-altitude, smoke-free environment, and is strictly graded
'Near Mint'.

This vintage ad is not any kind of later reproduction, photocopy or reprint (most ads were published at one time only, and never commercially reproduced). An unusual and distinctive piece for your frame..."

"Whas up my fellow synth nerds! You're looking at my Roland SH 7! It is in great shape both cosmetically and funcitonally. The pitch bender was once broken off, but as you can see in the photos, its glued back on. Very sturdy. There is also a sracth in the face plate by the AMP mod slider. There are alos Individual Outs for each oscillator added to the back of this unit. Very useful with a modular rig! Selling this because I want to slim down my rig and only keep essentials. If this thing was a ginormous beast(it weighs close ot 50 pounds) I would def keep it, but space is becoming an issue..."

STUDIO ELECTRONICS ATC-X Quad Filter

"ATC-X Synthesizer Module by Studio Electronics in absolutely MINT condition! This is the 4 filter version that sells new for $1495 not the single filter version that sells for $1149. The "ATC" stands for Analog Tone Chameleon due to it's multi analog filter system. This unit has to be in the top 5 most underrated synthesizers ever produced. Not only does it sound amazing but it is an all discrete VCO design (not DCO like many manufacturers claiming to be making 100% analog synths). The sound is huge and warm but can also be aggressive and gritty when needed, you cannot get this sound from a plugin. The "X" in the name refers to new features that were added including analog distortion and ring modulation. However, possibly the best feature is that it contains 4 analog resonant filter types which include Mini Moog, Oberheim SEM, Arp 2600 and Roland TB 303..."

These were based on the MFOS Sounlab. See this post for details. There was a keyboard MONOLITH as well. See this post for video and pics.

Via the seller for the listing above: "Ok.. so here's the scoop. I bought this very rare LZX Industries MONOLITH analog synth from a music shop in Austin Texas early last year. They had it set up with a large modular system. I played it for hours and fell in love with the filter. I bought it and took it home where i have been using it as a filter processor for my guitars, vocals, other synths and drums. the filter is BEAST! It is unlike ANY filter I have heard. It can be creamy and smooth or it can SCREAM and overdrive into complete sonic bliss. I have never used it as a synthesizer so i am selling it as is and untested in that regard. I do not know what all these patch points do ro how to set them up so i cant test fully. I would assume they work fine, just cant say. I know they did work fine at the music store when i bought it as they had it hooked up to a keyboard, but it has not been used in that way since then.

Now... as i have researched... LZX Industries only made about 4 or 5 of these. The developer went on to make Video Synthesizers... which he still makes. So this is VERY VERY VERY rare chance to get a synth that you will never find or see or hear of again.

I ran vocals through it again last night and told myself not to sell it, due to ot's uniquie sound and rarity, but alas, i am short of cash these days and could really use the money. I hope it finds a great home where someone can utilize ALL its features..."

"This is the first version so it has the multiple cv jacks instead of the divider/ring mod. It is in mint condition and has only been used in my smoke free studio. It is in perfect working order. I have rack ears and screws for it as well. One of the screws is almost stripped.. you can screw it in, but carefully. It still works fine with 5 of the 6 screws. Included:

Analogue Solutions Telemark
Rack ears and Screws
Original Power Supply"

"I was the ARP Custom Eng. Grp. Coordinator [article scan below]. Currently I am finishing a restoration on this ARP 2600 with 3604 keyboard. (Moog Filter) The case has had some water damage and needs new tolex, other than that it is in very good condition. I am listing it now but it is not finished. I have a new interface cable on order at this time. I have repaired the right output amplifier and the mixer input. Once I get the cable I will finish the repair and calibrate the unit.

Syntronics Audio on FB. Still servicing after all these years...

4/17 update: I got the cable in and it is a good fit. cinch-jones 10'. I did a functional test on it and things are looking good. S/H problem but everything else sounds good. 3 osc.'s, noise gen, filter, ADSR, mixer, etc.. The 3604 panel works fine. The keyboard is physically noisy and the contacts need to be cleaned and a calibration would be necessary. The console cover needs new tolex. The serial numbers from the console and the keyboard are a match.

4/22 update. I repaired the S/H, it was a bit difficult as a previous attempt by someone else was unsuccessful and possible the cause for the failures in my previous update. I suspect that this was the reason it must have sat in storage for an unknown length of time which is beneficial to the fact that it does not seem to have been used very much and the keyboard contacts are in very good condition. It has been functionally tested and most everything is working. I will calibrate it and offer it to be purchased with the tolex redone or as is. Feel free to email me any questions.

4/23 update. I cleaned the contacts springs, and bus bar. Calibrated the power supply, CV, 3 Osc's, and filter VPO in resonance mode. soundin' great.

4/29 update. There was a problem with the AR circuit which is now fixed. It's in pretty good shape now. The two main things that it needs is some new tolex and the keyboard is physically noisy and could used replacement keyboard bushings. I am entertaining offers at this time for the unit in 'as is' condition. I will continue to complete it but the sale price may change depending on the extra work on the tolex and bushings."
