Via the listing: "2011 Built EMS Synthi A with rare presto patch. This Synthi was from the last lot built at the end of 2011 by EMS.

EMS "SURVIVAL KIT" - I will include extra PINS from my personal stash - of each color in case your pins are lost! Extra volume POT - EMS Synthi's are still built with many "new old stock" components - one very common failure is the volume pot gets a little scratchy over time - no problem! I will include a spair!

Looks and sounds wonderful! Your chance to own a modern 2011 synthi built by Robin Wood and his team. From a non-smoking home hobbyist studio - never gigged.

A minor cosmetic issue is the crack in the plastic spartanite case as shown in the photo. This case was among the last ones at EMS at the time and my choice was no synthi or a synthi with a minor case defect - I chose the synthi!"

Some info via the listing: "We have tested all basic audio modules besides the "programmer" portion which we do not understand. We can tell you that when "step" or "run" are pressed it scrolls through the different addresses changing "DATA" lights and clicking relays of some sort, so it seems to work. Sources, Filters, Phasing, Limiting, Clipping, Counter, Mixes, Gates, Probability, and Monitor modules have all been tested and work as they should. When testing the mic and line inputs it seemed to trigger the overload light easily, but it passed audio just fine so maybe that is normal. Some pots are a little scratchy."

"One-stop shop for all your utility needs!

The Manual Voltage Processor (MVP) is a multi-function module with several vital "basic-utility" functions all packed onto one panel. This module is an ideal one-stop solution for manually mixing, scaling, inverting, distributing and offsetting audio and/or control voltage signals.

This module consists of three basic sections:

Attenuverter/Offset: First is the attenuverter/offset section at the top. Each of the 3 independent attenuators is bipolar and will output a static +/-5v DC voltage (offset) with nothing plugged into its input jack. The corresponding LED will indicate your signal's strength and polarity. (Red = positive.)

Mixer: Second is the mixer section in the middle. It's set up as as a basic unipolar 4-input unity-gain mixer. The sum of channels 1 & 2 can be removed from the main output by inserting a cable into the jack labelled "1+2", allowing you to use this section as two independent 2-input mixers. The output jacks are marked with black square surrounds. This mixer is designed to handle primarily audio and uses the same op-amps as the mix. It'll handle CVs quite happly, but the inputs aren't matched and you may not get good results with critical signals such as pitch CV.

Multiples: Finally there is the multiples section across the bottom. On the left are two 1->2 buffered mults and on the right are two 1->3 passive mults. The input jack for each section is marked with a black circular surround. The arrows on the panel indicate internal connections between sections. With only buffered input a in use you can distribute a signal to as many as 10 different destinations.

Like all Manhattan Analog modules, the MVP is entirely hand-built using panel-mounted metal-shaft pots and is fully protected from reverse-power accidents.
