Cheers to him for calling out it is not semi-modular. People are beginning to blur the line between what is modular and what is not. Modular is literally independent modules that you can physically move around. Semi-modular are independent modules housed under one panel that can be re-routed via patch cables. A synth with CV patch points is just that, a CV patchable synth, not modular. There is some confusion in regards to modulation and modulation matrixes in various hardware synths, but modular does not equal modulation matrix. Modular equals modules that can be moved around and reconfigured amongst other modules in a modular system.
