Studio Electronics Omega 8 6 voice with 6 CS-80 Filters

"This Studio Electronics Omega comes with 6 voice cards each containing a CS-80 filter card as well as the standard SEM and Moog filters. It is a powerhouse synth used by eminent artists such as Hans Zimmer.
Only one tiny issue is the silver logo cap for the main rotary encoder has fallen off. I expect a replacement from SE with a bit of glue would cost all of 50 cents."

Korg Volca Keys, sound exploration 2
Published on Apr 3, 2015 Metatron's Cube
"You are riding your horse just cresting that ridge line, and boom! Invaders from the north.
This time the highs sound brassy-ish(forced by adding peak on filter), and the lows more like a deep cello or bass(due to super cray "sigur ros" reverb setting). The sequencer is playing the high notes, and I'm playing the low notes(@32' on the octave scale, and in poly mode of course). Small amounts of Peak and EG INT were used to get the more brassy highs. Otherwise, the patch for the sound is the same as the first experiment. I'll do one more on the Volca Keys with delay and maybe chorus.... and move to the Bass next.

New Modor NF-1 8 Voice Hardware Synth Now Available
You might remember the Modor NF-1 from the announcement post here. It looks like the NF-1 is now available for order at € 995 (roughly $1090).

"The Modor NF-1 synth is a digital DSP synth very comparable to the classic Virtual Analog synths, but Modor is moving further on from this point. We use the classic structure of VA-synths, with oscillators, filters and effects, with parameters that can be modulated using LFO's and envelopes. But every element has been retought and reinvented. In a digital way.
The NF-1 has a classic 12dB/oct resonant filter, but we are also giving it a versatile formant filter, never seen in hardware before! It does make classic sawtooth waves, but we're also including a lot of other brand new modulatable noisy waveforms! It has a classic delay effect, but we make every parameter editable to give way to special unexpected effect types! And so on ..."
