Prophet-6 Synthesizer, Tweaking 366 with the Sequencer running.
Published on Aug 31, 2015 Bob Gomez
"In this video I had the camera setup & turned it on about half way thru my tweak session of Preset 366 on the Sequential Prophet-6 Synthesizer. Therefore 366 is already altered at the start of this video. Mostly I focused on the Aftertouch & LFO sections."

"Analogue bass drum voice with a wide adjustment range of the two-drum oscillators. Dynamic trigger input with depth control. 6HP, Eurorack Module. Created by HOX808, Berlin Germany."
I created a new HOX808 label for these moving forward. A search on HOX808 on the top right of the site will bring up previous posts.
Playing Synths While Driving - Kwes and the Moog app
Published on Mar 29, 2012 102TDOG
"Kwes and I were in a taxi at SXSW when the driver decided to demonstrate his Moog app as we sat in traffic.."
What would you say to the officer that pulled you over?
You could play some wobble bass or synth zaps. "Sorry officer, just getting my synth on!"

Dave Smith Instruments Prophet '08: Drawbar Organ
Published on Aug 31, 2015 Sacred Synthesis
"This improvisation is meant to demonstrate the ability of the Prophet '08 to imitate the sound of a drawbar organ. The PWM solo was played on a second P'08.
In general, I've never been a fan of the Hammond Organ sound. There are only a few drawbar settings that I like, and this patch is an imitation of one of them. But the truth is, the classic Hammond/drawbar organ sound requires a Leslie effect. Mere detuning is a lame substitute.
Good organ playing requires an exacting technique. Because of the nature of the instrument's envelope - having a sharp attack and an immediate release - it's essential that notes played together be struck exactly at the same instant. Sad to say, I find that synthesizer keyboards do not meet the quality necessary so that such a precise attack can always be made. This is true for the Prophet '08 and Poly Evolver Keyboard as well. I've noticed many times, especially when playing hymns or Bach chorales, that it's nearly impossible to get the attacks of the notes to be crisp and clean, even with repeated tries of the same passages. The same is true for this piece. There are many instances when the strikes of simultaneous notes are not together, creating a smearing effect. That's my disclaimer. There are many imperfections in this improvisation.

See the update in this post. Apologies for missing this when posting. I thought YouTube defaulted to the highest quality on playback but apparently not. You might want to keep this in mind for other videos as well.

"The Synth is in very good physical condition as can be seen in the first picture
Keyboard feels good but a few bushings might need to be replaced
The left Voice module is receiving signals but does not output any sound
The right Voice module is functioning properly, filter is functioning properly
All the keys work, all the switches and knobs work (except for left voice module)
The sequencer works, all 8 steps
Even with one voice this thing sounds great
Functions that require the second voice module cant be tested"
