"JP-8 Model # 040137 - 12 bit. The pinnacle of analog synth development.

This Roland JP-8 was purchased from Japan last year. It was apparently never gigged and not used very much at all according to the previous owner. It appears to be a very early model. The Japanese seller had the unit fully serviced -- totally rehabbed and recapped. It sounded fully operational, and just as beautiful as expected upon its arrival to the states. There are no known issues, it works perfectly. It also has been retrofitted for MIDI functionality. The cosmetic condition is also pristine, near museum quality, with the exception of some small dings on the one side metal panel (clearly shown in photo)."

"You are bidding on a Moog Mini-Moog model D. This one has a serial number of 49xx and was built in 1973. It has the middle (rev. 2) oscillator board.

This particular instrument has been thoroughly shopped and cleaned, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer one for sale on eBay or anywhere else. Check out the list of what all was done to bring this beautiful instrument back - as closely as possible - to its former glory:

"ACCESS Virus KC - Advanced Simulated Analog Synthesizer - Sound Programming by René van der Wouden.

The first 80+ sounds are designed and programmed for the classic electronic music styles like ambient and Berlin School. For especially the latter, PPG-style of sounds are included.

Many sounds refer to the Froese/Franke/Schmoeilling period of Tangerine Dream.

Enjoy. No sysex files available."
