Chamber of Sounds Jupiter III with mini-metronome
Published on Sep 2, 2016 chamberofsounds
"It's amazing what you can get from China these days. This $6 Me Ideal mini-metronome is the perfect compliment to our handmade, Jupiter III synth, making it play by itself.
It triggers the J3 real well, and you can dial in the exact tempo, note & bar length - it even does do tap-tempo! The mini-metronome comes free with every Jupiter purchase, only @ chamberofsounds.com"

'RMIF ELSITA'. It is a powerfull 4 channel analog drum synthesizer, produced in the USSR in 1980s. It has 4 identical channels (which can be used & edited freely). On every channel you can change: trigger signal sensitivity, tone, attack, release, tone\noise balance, filter, volume level. Each channel has trigger Input on a standart 1/4 mono Jack for 4 pads. It can be triggered from any drum pads like classic Simmons or modern Roland\Yamaha or any audio source - line outs of the drum machine or soundcard or CV Gate etc. The module has Audio Output (1/4 Jack) and Headphone Output (1/4 Jack). This is an armoured antitank piece of gear and the sound it produces is very unique! Can synthesize huge pallete of sounds - from modern punchy BD & SD to classic 808 or 909 subs or claps e.t.c.."

"Keyboard electronic musical instrument "Maestro" is a portable polyphonic four-voiced analog\digital hybrid synthesizer with microprocessor control (KR-580) & programmed timbres "presets". Number of presets - 20. There is possibility to get vibrato frequency with depth & frequency control. This instrument includes "chorus" effect with depth control, filter with cut-off frequency & resonance control. There are also "arpeggio-tremolo" arrangement with speed control and joystick that pitch shifts & vibrato depth controls. It is the first soviet synth with microprocessor inside. Maestro synthesizer was produced in 80s on Kachkanar military radio plant on the same factory where well known Polivoks synth was produced. Synth has nice compact design. Some waveforms (Brass section) feed to analog filter with resonance. Arpeggiator has memory of key's order. The synth is polyphonic, you can play 4 voices at one time. LFO can modulate pitch by triangle waveform. There are controls of modulation speed and amount of pitch modulation."

Siel DK700 Vintage Midi Master Synthesizer, SSM Based

"This is a rather rare vintage Italian synthesizer. It is six voice polyphonic using SSM chips. Each voice has it's own DCO, VCF and VCA. This has the same sound engine as the DK-600, but instead of knobs it has a button interface.
I have successfully tested most functions and parameters, but the testing was not exhaustive. The only issue to point out is that sometimes a single note will linger at a very low volume, but eventually disappear when the voice is re-used. This happens intermittently. Original factory presets are loaded.
The panel shows some surface scratches and the endpieces have some dings. All buttons, keys and wheels work fine.
This is a collector piece and not a performance instrument and thus sold strictly AS IS."

Modular Synth - Patch in Progress 37
Published on Sep 2, 2016 isvisible / isinvisible
"My first little play with my WMD SSM (Sequential Switch Matrix) and Expand. Not that complicated or anything, just feeding it 4 8 step sequences, then distributing various outputs to a few oscillators and filters.
Loads of fun going to be had with these modules I think."

"Auraglyph: Handwritten Computer Music Composition and Design
Coming soon
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/~spencer/au...
This demo shows usage of Auraglyph to create a variety of FM drones using basic oscillators and filters. Audio frequency oscillators are used for synthesis and modulation, with LFOs also providing modulation.
Auraglyph is an audio software programming, composition, and design system for iPad in which processing structures are created with stylus and multitouch input. Via stylus input, users draw a variety of audio and control nodes and the interconnections between them. These nodes are further parameterized by modal handwritten input, from simple numerals to time- and frequency-domain signals. Machine learning-based handwriting recognition is used to analyze the user’s stylus strokes, affording a rich vocabulary of symbolic input. Additional nodes are planned for creating conventional input/output interfaces, such as on-screen knobs and sliders and MIDI I/O."
