"Italian made GRP A-4 Analog Synthesizer.
Main Features: (3) full-feature oscillators, plus (2) discrete LFO's. S&H, Noise, Mixers, (2) ADSR, 16-Step sequencer, A-440 generator, 12dB State variable filter and 24dB Low pass filters, portamento, Auto-pan, accepts external signals, Stereo Headphone TRS jack. CV/gates in and out. MIDI and USB in rear. Complex routing features: provides virtually the same flexibility of a modular without the need for patching. The A-4 is single-voice, and does not store patches.
Audiophile timbral quality. Truly holds its own with ANY other synth. One of the most beautiful synths ever made.
This is one HELL-of-a synthesizer, semi-rare. Will retain its value; so buy it, use it, then sell it for what you paid for it. This a unique opportunity."

WP-20 Experimental Synthesizer - Noise, FX, Drone

The WP-20 is an MFOS DIY synth. You can find a couple of demos and other user designs in the archives.
"Here is a quick demo of me noodling around on my custom built WP-20 Synthesizer. There is reverb added. The last 4 minutes or so are two tracks of WP-20, with one track run through the Cimmerian Caves dual echo unit + CV and Gate input from my modular system."

"Selling my hand made WP-20 Synthesizer. Keep in mind this is hand made (etched the circuit board myself!), and it has an appearance as such (see photo's). The panel lettering is hand painted with a clear coat of varnish over top. The end cheeks are stained oak.
It can best be described as an experimental / FX / drone synthesizer. It has the following circuits:
- One VCO synthesizer (square or triangle wave) with external CV input
- One LFO (square or triange/sawtooth) with multiple destinations. It will get into audio freq.
- One loopable Envelope generator (attack & release) which can be triggered via trig button or externally and it can also loop and act as a second LFO, with multiple destinations. It will also get into audio freq.
- One VCF with Hi/Low Resonance
- One VCA
- One Noise source
I have used it in conjunction with my eurorack modular to control the pitch CV and gate input (for the Envelope generator) and it works great. It comes with a North American power supply, but will run on any 9v DC (center negative) power supply with at least 500mA
Don't expect this to act as a traditional synthesizer, its an odd little machine!"

Side note: thought this was a pretty neat pic. Note how the wood grain lines up with the knobs and the module. It's as if the module is emanating energy, which when you think about it, technically it does.
"The Serge Smooth & Stepped Generator (SSG) is a complex multi-functional module which can be patch programmed to provide various slew and sample functions both for audio and CV signals. It is one of the essential Serge modules.
The Smooth section will place a positive and negative slew on input voltage transitions for lag effects, voltage controlled portamento and for low frequency filter applications.” In Cycle-mode (cycle jack patched to the input), the Smooth side “will oscillate yielding a voltage controlled triangle wave LFO. A high level into the HOLD input will enable the Smooth Function to be used as a track-and-hold circuit with voltage controlled slew rate.
The Stepped function can be used as a sample-and-hold with voltage controlled slew rate limiting. In Cycle mode, a pulse applied to the Sample input will generate complex staircase waveforms for control voltage applications and for use as audio signals.
The Coupler is an internal comparator which compares the output levels of the Smooth and the Stepped Generators. This output is useful for generating complex control voltages or random voltages.
The Random*Source version of the Smooth & Stepped Generator for Euro is a licensed and authorized adaption of the original Serge design that provides an increased audio range of the Smooth Generator and a bipolar (“hot”) Coupler output in addition to the regular (unipolar) Coupler output."
